These questions might be silly.
Can anyone explain what these buttons function.
I think the adjuster with no 0 to 2 is to adjust front light beam position. When adjust cant really see the changes.
As for the button. Top button is for front fog light. What is the lower button for.

The button beside your headlamp toggle switch is the front & rear fog lamp.

The lower toggle is your headlamp beam throw adjustment.

if not mistaken the lower toggle only works with the original headlamp and will not work with aftermarket one like u and me.

My rpm not stable already service the throttle body. After engine hot, the RPM just goes up and down. Even when not pressing the throttle. Need to go to the service center again this weekend.
Any advice why this hapenning.

If the rpm is not stable it may consists of few problem that cause it. My assumption is your ride is 318i M43? Than you might want to check out your AFM and there is another part near the throttle side (black color) can't remember what is it call - might be leaking air... try ask the mech to plug in the GT1 comp to check for error code ... plus did the rpm not stable and the car is shacking? (if yes than it might be due to your engine mounting - if not than get it check).

Mine few years back issue is due to AFM (which i diy clean it myself), than that black cover near the throttle is leaking - change it, afterwards i change the O2 sensor as well... just to make sure the car breathing is better...

Need to got to the workshop again. Car didnt start just now. Key stuck and when i try again car didnt responce. After leave it for 5 minute able to start without problem. Need to find the root cause. My assumption, it shold be something with the ignition area.

If I remember correctly from the owners manual;

0 = just driver, no passenger
1 = with 1 passenger
2 = with 2 passenger

As suspected some problem with ignition sensor. Quote RM4++ for original part and RM2++ oem.
Ask mech if got any alternatives. Recommen to add push start button.
Intermittent start issue solved by adding push start switch which cost me RM60.

My car fan always ON even before start the car, rewired and now fan on after temp almost at half.
Total kena pow RM100 today.

Idling not stable after long distance driving not solve yet.
Mech suggest to replace idling valve. quote me RM8++ for new and 2nd RM2++.

Hi Joe, can you confirm the ignition sensor?.. I've search around, there is only ignition switch.

hi Azmi318, Sorry. I can't confirm the part. They didnt show me the part because no stock at that time.
I just ask them to add the start button due to this intermittent start giving me headache. So far no issue.
Feel nice too start using button.

Yesterday my car got metal knocking sound around rear passanger when driving.
I thought absorber gone. Lucky its just the mounting bushing.
Changed both rear absorber mounting eventhough the right side still in good shape.
Kept the old good mounting with me.

Than the car give another problem at afternoon.
Just died when start. I need to tekan minyak and brake. Not easy to drive with both leg.
Serviced the air flow meter unit. Its not moving freely/ sometimes jammed.
Now everthing is fine..until next experience..
