Just swapped out my rear tyres yesterday. Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2, 245/40/R17 at RM750 per pc in Klang.
Was going to get the Continental ContiSportContact 5 but currently, 245/40/R17 (non run-flat) is out of stock. Called Continental Malaysia to enquire and they advised that the next shipment is coming in only in mid December.

PSS is definitely good but I reckon may be overkill for me. I like PS3 but currently no stock! May have to settle for CSC 5

I've been using Michelin PS3 and Conti CPC2 (16" only) and I was thinking of changing to GY Eagle F1 Directional 5. Any feedback and comments by doing this? Is it better or worst?

i think ps3 and asym 2 same class. Directional 5 should be a level below

Cpc is comfort performance. A level below ps3 n asy2 as well

i also got a pair of 2011 Dunlop Direzza DZ101 Japan 235/40/18 - $700/each fr them at the same time.

I just changed my e39 rear tyres (255-40-17) to Toyo a few days ago.
Filled it up with Nitrogen.
It is quiet, and new tyres feel great.

- impressive comfort
- quiet
- good dry grip
- good wet grip
- good wear control as mine only show minor wear after 9K km
