I purchased 4 Goodyear 2 Asymetrric2 weeks ago. Up till now, I can't seem to eliminate a slight lumpy feeling which can be felt. I can feel the same through the steering too.I took the matter to the shop and got it balanced again for the back and twice for the front tyres. They claimed it is not the tyres or the balancing.I had Goodyear Asymetrric original before and had it balanced nearly 4 or 5 times using it. I later switch to Michelin PS 3 and now to Goodyear 2 Asymetrric with some regrets.Of all the tyres, I never had any lumpy feelings or shakiness or problems with PS 3 or even with my very old PP2! Is Michelin better made now? Are others having problems like me on their car?

I changed my rears to the Goodyear 2 Asymetric a few weeks ago, and no issues so far

I have heard may similar complaints such as yours too... but never used these. Do not intend to anyways.

Good luck resolving the issue. Let us know when this is resolved...

Go to the factory instead of the dealer. They will get one of their dealers near factory to check and if defective the appointed dealer will replace them straight away.
That's what I did.

Vegatron, did u solve the lumpy tyres issue ?

Incidentally I'm on GY F1 A2 and they were fine when on my original 225m rims. But when I changed rims and reused the 1 month old tires, I started getting the lumpy feeling when traveling at higher speeds.

Took it back to the tire shop and the found that when they spin the wheels, all 4 wheels+tires was not rotating evenly. They took the air out, remounted the tires in slightly different position and viola. No more lumpiness. Smooth now.

First time this happened to me !

Any more inputs regarding the Assym2's sidewall issue?? Planning to get these rather soon...

Running on all 4 corners with sport suspension. So far so good. A bit hard though - i likeeee ...

EH ??? I find them softer and quieter than the tyres on my other cars - PS2 and BS RE001.

No sidewall issues so far but it's only 1- 2 months...

Call Goodyear. They got a Customer Service team at Shah Alam. My advise, get their technical team to go to your tyre shop. If they detect a defect (I kena b4 but on in-seam breakage), they will arrange for tyre shop to replace there and then via a claims form. Don't let them get away with botched batch. It happens! Made in Germany, my @$$!

Asy2 is great on wet and corners...but bad in straight line braking....

Somewhat agree... but with a good grip on the steering wheel shouldn't be a problem.

Loving my A2 so far :)

I thought one of the strengths of the A2 as highlighted by Goodyear in their advert is braking performance?

Badrul,in terms of dry grip, how does the A2 compare to the PS2?
