The price quoted is all-in EXCEPT the valves. How much does the metal ones cost? i used to have them metal valves, but the kids at my neighbourhood just love to pinch their cap, to put on their bicycles i guess
Now have to decide to go for MXV8 or Preceda. Main consideration is comfort and quietness.

yep 205/55R16 is my tyre size for the Pilot Precedas. As for the metal valves, the boss assures me he has a lot of the caps & as such whenever i lose it, just get it FOC from him as his shop is nearby. So far, still intact. I dont think kids pinch those caps .... more like adults for their own rides! But those metal valves sure look good. Not sure what are the benefits though.
As your main consideration is comfort & quietness, then definitely MXV8 if your choice brand is Michelins. They are Energy tyres too as rolling resistance is reduced thus saving fuel. For me, i had it before in another car & didnt like looks of the thread pattern ....hehehe. Anyway, it your choice. Pls PM me the name of the tyre shop in Pandan ... Pilot Preceda 205/55R16 ..RM385 all in except for valves (normal type is RM3 each?) is very cheap.
for the benefit of everybody in this forum. Here goes ....
I dont think anyone can beat the price at this shop. Through someone's recommendation, a friend of mine went to Hup Soon tyre shop near Esso of Dataran Sunway .... has big Falken signboard.
His quote for Michelin Pilot Preceda 205/55R16 V was RM380/pc all in inclusive of nice metal valves.
But instead he changed his stock Dunlops to the Continental Premium Contact (made in germany) 205/55R16 W rating, for RM470/pc all in price too!
