got wind that a high powered GTR is doing a shakedown on the same morning... hehehe... Not sure if you guys would bump into him...
Have fun and becareful... Keep a safe distance and don't do emergency brakes... i've been to one non-BMWClub run where an inexperienced driver few cars ahead braked unexpectedly after a fast sweeper and almost caused a pileup.... That was one hairy moment... So if you're not familiar with the route, don't try to hold back the more experienced and faster cars...

Very true because every car behind u will have lesser and lesser time to react as it goes down the line. Keep a safe distance is the best practice! :top:
.. and cars will be released in small groups anyway, just because of the same reason.

I don't know, but another reason why I think Petronas would be more conducive is because for the folks living in KL going to MRR2 would be out of the way, and like u just mentioned yes, NKVE exit at Jln Duta then to Jln Kuching to Batu Caves. Give me a call if you need directions
Wow...interesting. I'm newbie here, and I stay in Kepong, nice if I can join this breafast drive to know more friends. May I ask about the actual location for meetup....Shell MRR2 (Batu Caves Bound), is it the Shell station next to Petronas after the Taman Metropolitan Kepong along MRR2?
In my opinion, it will be better (easier and less time consume) for all to meet at the last Petronas station on Sg Tua Road, compared to the Batu Caves bound shell station.
There will be plenty of traffic lights for the convoy to pass through, and if the group is huge then it will be a little troublesome for those at the back.
thanks for the suggestion bundy, not many of our members familiar with the road to ulu yam so the posted location is chosen apart from the ample space for stopping. I also have to u-turn.
In any case if some members would like to wait at the petronas then please do so and the convoy from Shell MRR2 will pick you guys up on the way...
