Read again, he said he quit, quit smoking.. He trying to be funny, he probably means gave up quitting smoking... hahah

As put by 535i, yeh the journey of quiting aren't that easy as ppl puts it.. The nicotine patches aren't that great neither but the nicotine withdrawal is something everyone needs to know.. From sinuses, heart palpilation, gastrics, purgings are some of the symptoms one has to go through.. False heart attacks due to abnormal heart palpilation is indeed scary.. Waking up middle of the night with heart burns too is scary.. So this thread is indeed to share some of my experience since my last puff end of 2011...

Consult a doctor if you aren't strong.. Recommendation of suppliments are needed too..

Champix by Pfizer seems to have helped many I know. Those intending to quit may take a shot.

Some say it's not advisable to quit immediately but rather gradually decrease the intake until finally stop to avoid the side effects. Btw hats off to you bro.I cant comment much as I have never smoked in my life..only second hand smoke..hehehe esp in the pubs..

16 years of Dunhill and red peter Stuyvesant….end my habit with mild seven. Till today already 10 years without it.
It took me 3 month process to totally stop. The hardest part during the process is after your meal, during toilet …nature’s calling and hang-up with friends.
Drink lots of water, start bringing any mag or news paper to toilet and avoiding hang-up for a while….its help me during that process.
Now...very very seldom get cough, healthy feeling after woke up in the morning, boost your stamina….long mileage…and yes! Your will smell better.

Congratulation ICE

I am in the trying process, got myself the e-ciggy. Been 2 weeks now since touched the real thing. Nicotine intake only without the tar, at least its few days gained than losing. Ultimate plan is to stop though. Radically, reduced the crave, however, after meal and hanging out in mamak is the craziest times. :) Hopefully!

thats great ....but just beware of the nicotine withdrawal which usually happens after the 2nd month onwards
