Yep, I have it in my car. It is smoother than ori settings and saves fuel too. I got it while overseas and happen upon an online offer. Cannot resist a good deal :D

Is yours the RaceChip or RaceChipPro? Come come tonite TT can demo...

Interesting, i did compare RaceChip Pro with Vector before on other diesel car and my client commented that RaceChip Pro run out of 'breath' sooner and less linear compare to Vector. based on the online order price, it will comes to RM1100 includling shipping and not to mention tax. Further more, RaceChip Pro is not transferable and not customizable by software.

Maybe can do some comparison with WUK51 or Docray ride :top:

Actually, I am using the cheaper Racechip. It is still on default setting and has more than 6 higher settings to try. The only thing that needs to be tweaked is the 120km/h to 180km/h acceleration. From 180 km/h to 240++ km/h it's awesome :top:

Racechip say it can be reprogrammed for new cars if necessary.

i c, so u are using RaceChip (Black color box) yeah. that one do have limitation due to the processor and tuning will be a bit 'coarse' due to limited number of point in the map. it is more important to get low-mid engine power for daily drive to spring and overtaking. it can be reprogrammed by them if you ship it back and pay for the shipping but you can't do customization tune on dyno over here.

Thanks Bro. eric_s,
Haha, now I understand.

But our 320d already a bit high level in sound.

If change to BMW performance exhaust will it be very noisy all the while we are driving? ^_^

hi cheehuat,

i like the exhaust tip you posted. So you know the address of the shop...if you dnt mine pass me bro...me wanna change also :)

by the way, wudnt the straight pipe's will dirty the bumper in a longer run. Im sure the current standard stock exhause tip is facing the ground for a reason.. i noticed some black oily thingy in the exhaust tip...is this nrom for a diesel car?

No, daily driving is great with the Racechip. Overtaking and driving experience in the city is so much better than ori.

The only issue is when you want to play with Porsches, GTRs and Ferraris, the ori map is better than the default Racechip setting.

So far Petronas, BHP and Caltex produces least black smoke. Some "d" on Shell got frequent black smoke problem. You can try and observe on the white bumper.

Dear Bro. nand78,
I don't know the place because still haven't done yet, I get the photo from Bro. jwah and Bro. morrogan's post.
Understand that the shop is in Klang.
You can PM them to get the actual location.

Cheers

Hi Bro. morrogan,

2 days ago went to Caltex, but the diesel pump machine they stated very clear that: "Biodiesel" ,
BMW advise us not to use the biodiesel, is it?

All diesel in the Klang Valley is B5 biodiesel (5% biodiesel), soon all of central Malaysia, can't recall the schedule. BMW officially supports up to B7 biodiesel (7% biodiesel mix). Google or do a search on this forum, I've posted the details before :)

Original map refer to your stock ECU? a bit confused? at one point you are saying 120-180kph needs tweaking but 180-240kph is good.

Petronas diesel very dirty , your bumper will be coated a thin yellowish layer, very hard to clean. So far bhp and caltex acceptable

Bro. nand78,
Still haven't decide to change or not,
worry the tip will affect the engine performance.
All the while when riding motorbike or driving my previous car, I always stick to the original design.

Have no experience at all in the car modification stuff.

Thanks for your kind invitation, I am in the middle of getting more information before action. :)

Cheers

Bro. jwah,

Whats your opinion on Shell's diesel?

Shell I never use since my petrol car, totally unacceptable! My friend who uses Shell (due to convenient) all are smoker!

In term of power, Petronas > Caltex >BHP (feel like sleepy the engine) [Base on feel only, don't trust me]

The tip won't have any effect on the engine output, purely cosmetic. The pointing downward tip is to push the particles to the ground, so your bumper is cleaner.
However, I don't like the pointing downward lah men!

Pointing downwards mean cannot literally smoke car behind you :D
