Hi bros and sis,I did my oil service at Wearnes in Segambut last Saturday . The SA told me that BMW has issued some recall programme for E90 320d to change some cables connected to the turbo charger. They do not have the part on hand and have placed an order and they will notify me to bring my car in when the cable/s arrive. So, did any of you send your car for this 'upgrade'?One more thing, I have been informed as well that BMW Malaysia has advised NOT to change the auto transmission at 60,000 km but only when you feel some 'jerks' or if your car develop leaks of the auto transmission fluid. They have withdrawn the advisory notice that asks/recommends the owner to change the fluid at 60,000km. I just need confirmation from you guys about this, is it true?Thank you all.

Any reason given for not changing the ATF?

According to them it caused more problem, where the transmission become 'jerkier' and in some cases a total failure. Doesn't make sense to me. I was ready to change my ATF but was advised otherwise. I think I will call BMW for a satisfactory answer. Anybody knows about this or the recall programme?

They really think the Dexron 6 Petro Canada ATF really a 'lifetime' lubricant

Bro, do you know which year's cars affected by this?

I did not receive any notice.

and the ATF should be changed, doesn't make sense not to.

Interesting bit of info, no idea about the recall. I hope mine isn't in that batch.
