I reflect the sentiments of my friend Herr Zogster but not quite in the manner he wrote.

I think this is not a useless thread.

'Merapu' or 'merapu-ing' is an essential skill to have and is constantly used in the Malaysian workplace.

The ability to talk about nothing is an essential social skill and reflects the well adjusted nature of a person and his good upbringing.

In fact, I would argue that the inability to 'merapu' only shows how dorky and unintersting that person is.

In any case, I have been working hard in between my work commitments to bring value to this thread in the form of informative travel and culinary information from the German heartland. I believe this information will be useful to anyone coming here in the future.

I hope the committee shall reconsider its actions viz this thread and allow it to run its natural course (it will die a natural death unless someone here is gunning for a Malaysia Book of Records - most postings in a forum category - in which case god help us all!).
