Great news about FTDI chips driver to run on Windows 7. Sorry for my report earlier as standard Windows 7 unable to load the scanner driver.

Jarance, are you saying that the same scanner previously run 1.4 can also support 2.0 version of software? Is E9x/E6x using the same adapter? If yes, do you mind to share the software? Is it available for download?

fugo, sorry about the late news. I just test it myself after I got the scanner and search for the latest driver.

Sorry to have mislead you earlier about win7 compatibility based on info from others.

If you are still interested, I might have one spare since I have the advance version.

zidee, you are not wrong because the USB driver provided at the download site is not compatible. With the latest update from FTDI site, it works.

For later version like E9X, you need to use different adaptor. The software CDROM came with the unit. I have try to use it for E46 but it did not detect my car. I need to check it with a e90 or e60 before I can confirm the advance version. still looking for a car to try it out.

My advance scanner have 2 USB outlet. One for scanner 1.4 and the other for DASH but they share the same 16pin d connector.

2. Sunday 27th Feb - Taman Mayang - from 1:30pm till 4:30pm

Please bring your own laptop if you need me to setup your computer.

3. For those who required for posting - Please wait till Sat for me to get back to Klang.
Now, I am now in PD and I will need to repack and send it out on Sat Morning.
(BTW, post office got open on Sat??? (opening time))

OK Guys, some change in plan on the collection based on buyers request.

1. Friday 25th Feb - PJ Paparich TT - from 9:00pm till midnight. Let have TT as well.

2. Sat 26th Feb - Collect in Klang - From 12 Noon till 6:00pm (Pls SMS or call to make appointment)
Maybe also have TT at Berkeley Corner if there are enough people.

Please PM me if you want to collect in Taman Mayang. I will inform the address for collection via PM .

I can also leave some units at my friend place so you can collect next at Taman Mayang.

Good News.. After tabulating the total cost and the saving in the freight charges, the total money collected can offset the tax/duties that was imposed.
So guys, YOU NO NEED TO PAY ANY EXTRA.. Ha..Ha.. There are some extra money which I will keep for my petrol money and tolls charges.

Unless the Diagnostic software can make car go faster and/or improve the performance, then get it from Jarance urgently. Otherwise just wait for above delivery instructions given by Jarance. I was only pulling your leg about getting it from Jarance hse and bkt.
