these are not your everyday shocks you buy from sparepart shops. its customised to ur feel of driving. so u can only get it where it is made

can call me at 012-7177082 if needed

by just explaining what type of ride and handling i'm looking at they already know what sort of setting is good for me.. i can say that they got it right the first time!

Dear Alantiong and humms, just need to know do your change yours tyre? If yes, what model yours are using now? TQ.

any workshop can do it. just go and but a thrust bearing from ntn, skf, timken or any brand. 90id 125od. i did mind at titan.. of course.
Dear Alantiong,
How much does those Titan thrust bearings costs (including installation)?

i am still running on stock 17" rims and rft.

the bearings itself was around 200. but need to do it while actually taking out abs.. so it is another 200 labour if done separately.

we also tried machining a thin sleeve/collette to stop the looseness.. and it works too.. so got options now.

i've changed mine to the m sport staggered tyres

Thanks Bro Humms for the fr and Bro Alantiong for the contact to Titanshock. I finally replaced my absorbers yesterday and true enough the knocking sound is gone.

I was surprise to see that the original BMW absorber is so soft, you can apply force with a single hand to compress the absorber. It's that soft, unbelievable.

After installing the absorber, I can feel the immediate improvement in terms of the car handling. The steering feel is excellent, I took it all over the town for a spin and the adrenaline feel of driving a BMW sport mode came back to life. I almost forgotten why I bought a BMW in the first place.

Kudos to Titanshock on the excellent buatan Malaysia product and great service. We'll done !!

Kenji, glad that your knocking sound problem is solved!

at certain point i was even contemplating selling my car and go back to VW or change to Audi.. now the gremlins have been sorted out, i'm beginning to enjoy my car now.. this is how a BMW should be from the start! not after spending almost 10k plus on parts and other items

excellent.. i am glad another friend made at titan.. it is truly the best shocks money can buy in malaysia.. and hope more people will not even think twice about locally made aftermarket shocks.. so boys.. what are you waiting for?

Bro Kenji, Is that 4 pcs front & rear all are soft? TQ.

simon.. front two are extremely soft.. my initial impression was." this is worse than my dad's 130Y konked out abs.."

rear are marginally stiffer..

guys.. if i were u watching this thread.. and have a F30 with standard shocks.. i will not wait another second more .. forget kw forget bilstein.. this is it.. so obvious choice. we solves soft abs and bloody knocking noise at one go.. tell me who else can do that?? u think 10k m-performance will do it?? bloody AB still in the dark wasting so much resources, claim after claim on the steering rack.. chasing wild goose...

For those who have the budget of M performance shocks (12k and above), the only shocks worth upgrading to are ohlins. but whatever shocks you change, make sure they offer you aftersales services as well.

Pm sent to both ...

Would want to clarify that I am not in anyway affiliated or have any interest in Titan, just a satisfied customer, just in case some people think that way..

Humms,

We bank our trust in you... no worries..
My only concern is warranty void for my ride.. if I were to change now

I don't have this "knocking" problem so far (touch wood!). How long of use before this problem surface out ? Or how many km of use before this knocking happens ? Or it was started from the beginning when receiving the car ?
