steering knocking sound

Great advice! I've got d same prob too...will try to fix it too
Also, I have additional prob, every time I take corners (slightly sharp ones), I'll hear 'krik krik' almost like cricket sound from the left rear section. Any advise what to replace? This is my 1st day driving my 318i 2.0 thanks

Steering coupling swivel joint only cost rm350.00 brand new, i replaced two section of the
joints(top & bottom), if yours is the whole set than is very cheap what the warranty period?

Hi, RM200 for Two section joint together. But my steering still feel knocking sound when drive thru uneven road, there is another item from steering joint to coupling, right? any effect on that also?

This few days while going up my multi level carpark ramp can hear metal knocking sound from front left side, with steering turned to right. Was going slowly...
The sound like a hollow pipe knocking on floor few times...
Noticed only when steering is turned to right got sound..
Any ideas guys?

please refer to my post *16 i did mentioned
in the part image item no.3 & no.4 need to change at once in order to take effect,this is two different parts in steering joint. if you replaced both items i mentioned and the sound still exist
than it is other problem not related to the steering joint.
