Back in 2010, i only need to wait 2weeks for my F10. Now, demand superseeds supply.

In the spirit of sharing, just want to inform you guys my loan was 2.50% @ 3 years from BMW Credit . Took 2 days to approve upon submission of documents

mine too approved within a week, same rate...

i booked mine early june, was told suppose to get my ride in early aug, although delayed a bit but i still able to get in the middle of aug ( sop grey, cinnamon, 520d, bought from JB AB)... another forumer from jb gets his 520d even faster (middle of june, early july already he get to enjoy his ride, space grey, black, also from JB AB)

I think the availability for the diesel version is a bit longer, i got mine a petrol version less than 2 weeks and the loan approval was done within 2 days.

here's the strange part. After we booked our 520d , they then launched the X3 diesel & 528i M-Sport. Although we booked earlier then the launch of these 2 new models, i already see a few on the road, meaning they got theirs earlier ! Perharps they are CBU, then i can understand.

You are correct but only if you buy from the authorized BMW distributors, not AP recond.

AB -JB told me the 3yrs free maintenance = free 3 service only (for 10,000km , 30,000km & 50,000km)
Owner need to take care the 20,000km , 40,000km & 60,000km.
It's that true ???

Yes, that is true. The free maintenance is limited to BMW schedule. If we wish to have it done outside the schedule it is at our own cost.

Regards

Is it necessary to service the car outside of BMW's schedule? Is the schedule for diesel engine the same as petrol engine's? Can the diesel engine oil last for 10,000km? What type of engine oil are they using? Hope someone can shed some light. Thanks.

Both petrol and diesel is using the same engine lubricant, so not need to worry tat much, in fact the diesel itself is kind of lubricant already... 320D and 520D is using the same engine, u can get more info in the 3 series forum on the diesel engine...

Diesel engine can use lubricant for petrol engine? All the while I thought there are lubricants specifically for petrol and diesel engine. Thanks anyway.

What is the reason other colours are not accepted? Do you mind sharing the place that you made you booking?

i mean, i always wanted silver at the first place, even SA offered me different color so that i can get earlier.

booked mine at Ingress after done the test drive, i went to AB sg besi few days earlier, but the SA said no car to test drive and push me to place booking.
