Water Vapor in F10 Light Head

Hi all,
I got mine last week. Same vapour in the headlights. I brought back to my service centre. The engineer advises 2 option to solve this issue. 1. Remove the moisture absorbent sponge (sadly the design back fire itself and causing vapour). 2. Dissemble headlights, oven them (this will need to dissemble the front bumper. No way for just received car). Mine goes away after a few days. I will keep monitoring the situation before letting the engineer to conduct any of the options.

Hi Mac,

If water droplets or water marks appears, ask them to change it under warranty. No way to remove water stains or marks by oven baking that's for sure. Seancorr got it replaced for his F30.

My unit so far evaporated and has not come back yet.

Yep i got mine replaced after the dealer sent the photos to BMW Malaysia for approval. Quite straight forward process.

Thanks bro. I just sent my car for a bath. Right after the bath, I can see the vapor again. Heart sore for the price paid for this ride.

Hi Mac,

I know the heart ache that you speak of! So far so good but if really heavy shower after a drive, I see a little.
