F10 520d booking to delivery time frame

Fantastic kenfoo! U can pass your car to ck318ci or bgx. They cannot tahan! Sometimes getting the 2012 ED mode lis a double-edged sword because you lose on the performance when they downtune the engine. Already the 520d in its current guise is a real winner when it comes to fuel economy.

Thanks bro, anyway i don't mind the car MY 2011 as long as it is delivered as promised. Had a bad experience with other brand before. Promised 2 months and further extension 3 months and at the end I've canceled my booking.

Not long ago, I was still undecisive whether to get an Audi A6 2.0 TFSI 2012 model (will only be here next month, estimated RM360k) or the 520d but after reading all the plus points about this car in this forum, I think I won't regret getting my family a beemer (I hope I'm not wrong). Does anyone here know if I would like a 2012 manufactured car as soon as possible, how early should I book it in 2011? Let's say I'm into Alpine White and Cinnamon. Is anyone on BMW Credit's Easy Ownership scheme? What is the interest rate? Do I have a say on the amount of the final balloon installment?

u can book now and asked the dealer to deliver the car to your preferred date next year. Since waiting period is 5-6 months, u better book it now.
Not sure of current rate so u need to check with the dealer.

I saw the new A6 (3.0TFSI, black) on the road. Honestly, I must say that it looks pretty good in real life. (Surprising, as I thought it looked awful in photos.)
The A6 looks larger, but the F10 looks more garang.

Frankly I'm not sure about the specs for the 2.0 TFSI version. There is very little information available in the internet about this version of the A6. Even the SA can't tell anything about it. The only sure thing is the LED headlight is optional which costs RM13k.

Wow! 6 months to wait for a diesel car-just less than 2 years ago, people were making fun of us 320d buyers saying beli kereta bunyi macam bas sekolah, asap hitam macam lori buruk...etc etc. Thank God there's sensible people like you all out there who love diesels and are not bigots of hate and vile!

I think the diesel are great but the only thing is the engine sound, lol. I saw an F10 yesterday (WSV plate) which is relatively new and walking pass it I can hear the diesel engine ticking all the way, haha.

I work in Cyberjaya and have seen and heard the diesels since they were launched way back in 2009. It's not that big a deal the engine noise, you hear it everywhere in the streets in Europe

Yes, it's just the engine noise and to be honest, even the new direct injection petrol has that ticking sound. My petrol has it too, sounds like sh!t but not very audible from the inside cabin, haha.

I sat inside the A6 3.0TFSI before, the interior space is smaller as compared to F10... exterior not really bigger too... maybe i am bias!!!

Same here book in July for nov 520d silver , sold e60 in aug , that's what I am thinking as well economy tanking or recovering ... Seems color make a different , but BMW credit still have not get back to me as the sa told me approval is done when near delivery . But the took all my doc in aug strange .. Hopefully better rate as nov come near .

My SA and personnel from BMW Credit informed me of my loan approval after 10 days after i've submitted my papers. Rate 2.55% @ 7 years

mine too approved within a week, same rate...

i booked mine early june, was told suppose to get my ride in early aug, although delayed a bit but i still able to get in the middle of aug ( sop grey, cinnamon, 520d, bought from JB AB)... another forumer from jb gets his 520d even faster (middle of june, early july already he get to enjoy his ride, space grey, black, also from JB AB)
