Guys, if u been after proven ecu tuning at a very affordable price,
Bluegreen Motor Werks located along Federal Highway around Motorola,
Fire Fighter row in PJ has been doing this for sometime now.

They have own tailored programme for every cars especially E30s, E34s , E36s.
They did 1 for my own E34 M50B20 recently. I am very impressed with my ride as I gave another 530i V8 a good run. Certainly I couldn't overtake it, but a good run...

And all this cost me just a few hundreds ringgit with them...this includes after sales support with them even after 6 months. They also let me to test drive my car with their every tuning to find the most satisfying set-up that I like. For a mere few hundreds, they made me a very happy man.

I agree with Zakie that having an own programmer and toying with our own rides anytime is really great. But I also believe somethings are better left with the experience hands. Recently I read in another forums how DIY ECU tuning went really wrong and frying the cars. Just my opinion...

Can you give tel number of Bluegreen Motor Werks ??

Bluegreen Motor werks cars are very the fast one ....especially aheemmm the sleeping M--S--R...

Yeah, how much is few hundred? Let us know lah...
What about E46 325i? Can Bluegreen Motor Werks do it coz only E30, 34, 36 is mentioned.

So did the ecu tuning bring the torque to kick in earlier & with a bit more horse?
Did they put the car for on wheel test & print out the torque & bhp curve?
If only a few hundred(it makes us have an impression that it's cheap), may be not inclusive?

What about fuel consumption, did it improve?
How long does the tuning takes? Half a day?
Most of all, it won't bring any damage to our enginer correct?

BTW, my car is 100% original. What is the rough % gain in terms of torque & bhp?

Gotta be prepare for the upcoming new fuel structure, if it's correct I am not going to get any single cents of subsidy on the fuel, regardless of the tax I have pay...

Thanks!

ya lor...make people syok already...then go MIA...

Guys, I do a lot of field work. So, sorry for the late reply.

They charged me RM550. They gave me their ECU and traded in mine.
From what I understand, they are changing the chip and also some modifications
to the ECU motherboard. Apparently this helps their programme to be more compatible to my ride.

No, they do not have a dyno machine. However, I did extensive runs with them, from drag, stop-go, midrange pick-up and even highway top-end and tried out about 3 different their ECUs before I decided on what I wanted.

Iniatially, I thought I am going to lose my fuel consumption due to the power increase. But to my surprise, I gain in power & also consumption got better. When I spoke to them, the sifu explained that they design their programme to be more efficient, hence bringing out more power from the same engine.

The last I spoke to the sifus there, they are planning for their own dyno machine. These are some serious fellows about their work. They are planning for the newer cars such as E46, E39 & E60, but they want to get a dyno machine first. They do not want to be based on ' BUTT-DYNO' forever...

Hi badbone, thanks for the info.
OK, so they trade in your ECU, no wonder it's cheaper. I c...
So, E46 not ready yet...
Anyway, I am happy for you.:top:

Guess they must have bring the peak of the torque to a lower rpm, so you won't need to step harder on the pedal.

RM550 with trade in, right?

Without trade in will be 1k-2k, right?

badbone...welcome back, welcome back!!! =)

so basically, if the ECUs were traded, the RM550 paid would be for the new chip and modifications to the ECU motherboard? When you mention modifications, do you mean they make some changes to the hardware components?

Thanks...and by the way, any contact person and number? cheers

after all this thread hijacking, anyone gone to bluegreen yet?hows the result?

whoops...sorry for this...

No need to be sorry king82, you have done nothing wrong.

Looks like the original "infomercial" got turned back into a discussion by bone's comment, and king82 just wants more info.

So, um, where is this " other place" to discuss the original commercial.

and i suppose there are many ways of tunig it right?
Does the topic limit to single source? hmm...:stupid:

This is the thread opened by Zakie@TIC, so we should not discuss others tuning company here.

Thanks for the info bro :top:
