Hahahaha! I really appreciate your response guys! and I'm glad I'm not alone in also thinking the E90 325i SP is the better value proposition with i-Drive, those gorgeous 18" wheels, the extra 28 bhp etc etc. Yet again, the distinctiveness of the E92 (even more vis-a-vis the E46 variants) has a strong appeal too. As it is, the E90s are getting more and more common in Mont Kiara where I live but I'm yet to see an E92 and when I do, I'll certainly give it a second look. I spoke to E46F and concur with him that our boyracer days are over so what's the extra performance for? However, once you appreciate the need for speed, you bring that need to the grave i.e. how many 6-pot drivers here will settle for a newer 4-pot model? How many 325i drivers can tell me they will settle for a 520i cos they've grown up and are now more inclined for a bit more stature? Most fellas would at least maintain their bhp stats, that boyracer is 'em has faded but it's still there.

So, to cut the long and bull... I'm more inclined towards the 325i SP for the extra performance and goodies at cheaper price but have to concede the E92 is a full class ahead!

So to cut the long and bull, fast car phase over, time for some fast women. Extra performance boost needed in another area.... :)

Kidding only ah JPB, don git mad! :D

Performance boost required when Supergripen tiongs me! That's the dilemma! Hahahaha!

I wonder if there are any E90 325 owners out there who've installed the M-sports kit on their own? How would it costs to add in the body kit and springs separately?

Reason I ask cause the sales rep is still offering a few units left of E90 325 at RM268K and was wondering if it'd be cheaper to get it and add the body kit on my own

There was a pdf posted in one of the active E90 threads ( I can't remember who or where though).

Anyways, I remember the figures being 10-13k for the M-Sport kit (painted and installed) and about 4K for the sports suspension.

Btw the sports suspension comprise of springs and shocks and exacts a 0.6 inch drop over standard suspension.

Feel free to correct me, guys.

I remember reading somewhere that the bodykit is about RM12K and M sports suspension about RM6K. Yet again, I'm also not quite sure.

Hi guys, its been a long time since I'd posted here. Yup, KL2DC is correct about the price of M-sport kit & suspension.

Funny, the M suspension for E46 was more expensive then cos E46F and I paid RM5K for it for our E46s.

Yeah lah.... Very tempting. But my more mature friends seem to think the outgoing C230 V6 being flipped off for about RM260K is better value for money lah.

The C230 V6 would be value for money yes, but it's long in the tooth and will be an older model in a few months time. But MOST importantly JPB, the ladies you'll pull with it will be a bit....mature too. :D

You only live once. Get the E92 laaa!

Hahahahaha.... I totally agree with you but I prefer gangsta chicks compared to beauty queen chicks who are likely to be appealed by the E92! Been there; done that; quite sick of it! heh! E46Fanatic can confirm this...

JPB, the merc will suit your image...most chics think you are a player of which you are not! So the Merc will give them a sense of security...hahahaha (I am only trying to help) :) :)

The Albuaya has spoken! I'm not getting the car to impress anyone but to enjoy and I think I enjoy 218 bhp more than 190 bhp. So, what about a rematch with your so-called "520i" ?!! hehehehe...

Eh swinging bachelor like you, should get the ultimate player toy la... The E92 coupe with sunroof and white leather.

Once married with kids, the baby seat in the rear of the car will put an end to your swinging bachelor lifestyle.. no matter how cool u look in the ride. So enjoy it while it lasts :p

The Merc has 204 bhp. I got no issue trying with your so-called "318 4 pot" even with my present E46, heh!
