Hi guys,Was wondering if anyone is aware of this. The final batch E90 325i Sports has the word "Edition" on door sills instead of M-Sport. Any idea why? Its still the same 325 Sports with M Sport suspension, bodykit & Steering right?

is the steering wheel the //M edition? or normal wheel, cos its more then just a badge, the entire thing is diffrent

Ryou ... Body kit, suspension, rims, steering wheel etc all M Sport. Door sill covers say EDITION!!! This is BMW la.

From some articles -
"Meanwhile, the top of the range of the BMW 3 Series Editions - the BMW 325i Sports Edition - exudes extreme athleticism with the M Sports package with M Aerodynamics package, M Sports suspension and 18" M Light Alloy Wheels with Star spoke 193M styling in Ferric Grey metallic. This expression of sportiness is further enhanced with BMW Individual High Gloss Shadow Line at its window frame surrounds and black chrome finishing at its double exhaust tips. Inside, this sporty look and feel is showcased with black 'Dakota' leather seats with blue contrast stiching and matching floor mats in velour with contrasting blue leather piping as well as BMW Individual headliner anthracite and interior trims in Aluminium Glacier Silver. "
Also Brake Energy Regeneration.

According to my SE at AB JB the last batch of the E90 325i Msport were the so called special edition and hence the edition sill plates. I would have preferred the M Sport plates myself but the powers to be at AB feel this is more exclusive... to me just another gimmick from AB with no real value.

Thanks for the replies guys. Yes everything is M Sport i.e. the steering, wheels, seats with blue stiching, black chrome exhaust tips, gun metal rims, suspension I presume is M Sport (I can't tell the difference visually, but handling is superb, so must be M Sport laa)...the only thing is the "Edition" word on the door sills. I also would have prefered the word M Sport. Whats so special about this special edition compared to previous 325 M Sport? Anyway, glad I got one of the last batch....prefer this over the new F30 anytime.

What's so special? Marketing gimmick la ... heheheheehe ... I still prefer the e90 over the F30 BUT not the N52 la ... how nice if the e90 can do 0-100 in 6+ secs. Sigh ...

Hi farhan,

So you have a late model 325 sports too? Congrats. I love it, dreamed of it for years and years, only now with the lauch of the F30 can finally afford it at a discounted price. FInal batch is the best, gunmetal rims, dark chrome exhaust tips, comfortable suspension...superb. Will keep this car for at least 10 years. Yes..BMW forever!
