from what i know. wald is just some tricky rebranding method by the importer to "bend" the system somewhat, but i dont know exactly how, why, and what.

but if you browse the Wald website in japan, you will find that they do not make any parts or accessories for Volkswagen at all! They only have stuff for mercs and bmws. Also, they only concentrate mainly on styling. When i checked out their website last year, they only had bodykits, mufflers, and rims.

But now, they seem to have added more "tuning" parts. stuff like brakes, performance parts, suspension..etc. but i suspect they are just rebranded items. They dont actually develop them. For example, if you click on their Wald brake systems, they're actually brembo brake kits.

i'll have to check with him dulu..semua busy nowadays.at the moment he's only got an Apex'i boost gauge.

i mentioned EGT cuz if u're pushing the turbo to the max,u'd better monitor the EGT closely or u'll have a dead turbo very very soon if u push it too much.an oil cooler wud be a good idea as well plus silicone radiator hoses.

body standard but the car is slammed on Eibachs and rolling on 19" BBS alloys..very very sweet.

good choice..whatever bodykit u put on it will surely make the car look great.but u'll need need at least 18's la.

i'm on leave at the moment but i'll try to arrange something so that u and him can meet.he can tell u more la,i takut nak recommend apa2 sebab tak pernah pakai VW.
