Out run the New A4.

What a bad luck i had today. This evening, When i was on my way to Penang at Northern highway, an Audi New A4 suddenly cut me from my left and drive slow in front of me. At first i thought this guy must be in hurry to cut cars from left lane. But after a while he still driving very slow....so, i try to drive a little faster to cut him from the right side with indicator sign. When i was about overtaking him, his car keep speeding up and he seems doesn't want me to overpass him. He drive faster and faster to cut cars from left lane, then i started to know this guy really wanna show me how fast his car can go (just my own sensed). So, i floor all my paddle down to keep our distance as close as i can (he was about 40 metre away from me). I thought i will stand no chance to smoke him up. But, Luckly some cars in front packs together and he has to slow down. After the road clear, he stand no chance to keep up with me. Because his A4 is "2.0 non Turbo type" Without the Turbo unit, i think it'll has 130bhp around only.

the new 2.0l come with the FSI engine rate @200hp!!!...The quattro...lebih teruk....so, your chances are not so good ...

Then i was returning from Kuantan to KL last weekend...I got this maniac passing me at sustained speed of 170-190Km. He drive fassst- consistently!!! not just straight road and at night!!!

By the way, he drive a red citreon Xantia hatchback. that is the worse part. sigh... :beaten:

Finally, we meet again at the police road block after genting....busy bargaining...

Ya, the new "A4 2.0 Turbo" rate at 197Bhp. I tested this baby before, very powerfull and nice build too. HA, luckly the car i met wasn't the Turbo A4. Phew.. h34r:

If people like tht no need to pass thru him.. just get close to him at his back (3-4 car lenght) is good enough..at least this is going to tell him...he still not fast enough to get rid away from you...and you are not as easy to be annihilated as anticipated....

the A4 turbo runs out of steam once it reaches the upper edges of the tacho..very frustrating feeling la.its a total opposite of a stepbox bimmer where it starts off painfully civilized(SLOW!!) but once u hit the sweetspot mid to the upper reaches of the tacho,it flies!!!
i'd rather have the shove of the A4 low to mid and the upper thrust of the bimmer once u reach high rpms..but u can't have em all..too bad.
i think a Golf GTi with the superb DSG box and a sports ECU wud tapau both bimmer AND audi.... i know for a fact cuz i've done it and kena tapau by a friend's GTi.but to be fair,the GTi is a Wald ECU tuned version with a full Milltek sports exhaust system with 257bhp against my puny 193bhp with the dreaded Steptronic.
an A4 Turbo Quattro with tuned ECU and exhaust system wud be a belter too...its only a matter of time till someone does it..
on a different note,last nite a Honda Accord 2.4 did something nasty to me on the KLIA highway without provocation so i replied in kind.i don't want to elaborate further cuz someone might come and tell me how unskilled i am for not taking it to the track..needless to say i gave the guy a good trashing and a little lesson in humility.the message i was trying to convey to him was don't poke something u can't handle..maybe he was having fun previously poking innocent little cars like the City,Vios,Spectra and what not..
