InitialM,

Thanks for sharing this with all the members of BMWCM, and possibly visitors to the forum. When it rains, please drive within the speed limit. Even F1 cars driven by the best drivers in the world also do lose control, what's more with mere mortals like us.

Moral of the story, drive slow and the only thing that keep you on the road is your tires, so make sure you have good tires and check them regularly!

Cheers,
Albundy

Oh Dear!!! Lukily he is in a bimmer, not a proton or a perodua. Otherwise bye bye. Are'nt we glad that most of us here is in the save hands of our UDM.

In highways beware of cross winds. Few stretches on the North South highway is prone to cross winds. Especially the stretch along Ayer Keroh. Our bimmer is a Ultimate Driving Machine, not Ultimate Flying Machine.

DRIVE CAREFULLY GUYS

Last Time My E39 also had this incident.....I drove at 120km/h in the rain then turn at the sharp corner...the car totally loose control & turn 360 Degree for few times...Luckily I Managed to avoid all the car( luckily!!) & my car finally stop again luckily didn't hit anything.........scary experience!!!

The story is..don't think UDM never fail you.....!! Last time I thought the stability control can always control the car not to fail in any occasion...!! haha...

OMG, this is really bad state of accident.
Sorry bro, your friend who drove recklessly was totally inconsiderate and selfish! Not only he is endangering other passenger's life but also to other drivers on the road!

Years back, I personally saw a group of 'racers' (udms, subaru,r34) racing down on the North South highway, skidded and crashed into a passing-by car. The next day when i flipped open the newspaper, the poor family of 3 perished just like that! The poor car was knocked from the first lane, skidded, totaled and landed on the opposite road. Few on coming car was seriously damaged along with serious injuries.

Imagine the chain of action because of this stupidity! Puiii to reckless drivers & f*** that reckless driver! He's lucky to be alive and also not causing other plp's life and ask him to do some charity!

Thats why I shared it here as a reminder to me & all. Power is nothing without control:smokin:

Very very scary man........................nasib baik semua selamat

Very fortunate escape for all there..

I still remember driving back on North south expressway, the rain was freaking pouring down and I was on the fast lane doing 100km/h. Then behind me came this new 520i (I'm driving an E34) with his headlights on and of course I just moved aside. 15 minutes later I see this car coming out of the big 'drain' in the middle of the highway, and it's the same dude with damage to the bumper and lights with pieces of bodywork all over the road...Shows no car is invincible against Mama Nature.

I had similar experience few years ago driving up north on the NSE..just a light drizzle but enough to wet the road..was driving along at about 90+ kmh, a Kancil passed me fast on the right lane..
About 10 mins later saw it was turtle on the fast lane, driver was motionless on the road...another 3 cars in the longkang on the left with the occupants of the cars standing outside their cars looking shocked..PLUS emergency vehicle just arrived..as the PLUS staff was just crossing the road from the opposite direction..
Quite obvious he didn't make it..that image stuck in my mind until now..

Unfortunately a lot of drivers will read & think wow..lucky it's not me,won't happen to me..I'm a safe driver but when sometimes we drive along in our UDM,somebody cucuk..emotions go up..intelligence comes down..
and this can be the unfortunate time where we just lose the whole thing..

So..do drive safe..and always keep your intelligence higher than your emotions..

Cheers :)
