Our bro, Gregcwho has found us a great deal at Berjaya Georgetown at RM80 nett a room!!! Yes not a typo, it is RM80 nett a room!!! Here is a link to the hotel for your perusal http://www.berjayahotel.com/penang/index.asp.

I have enquired and recall that I stayed in this hotel in 2004. It wasn't too bad. Since we will be spending most of our time out of the room, it is pointless IMHO to spend too much on the hotel. Rather the budget be spent on good food e.g. organising that seafood cum meat galore BBQ by the pool/beach!!!!

I am in favour of this proposal. For those who have confirmed, pls let me know if you have any objection.

Todate we have had 23 cars signing up, but only 9 confirmed so far. The rest, I greatly appreciate your confirmation, so as I can facilitate bookings and planning activities incl dinner. You would appreciate, organising a good dinner for 15 and that for 50 are very different. So your co-operation here greatly appreciated.

Thanks! If can get a good deal on BBQ by the pool/beach, I think that shall be fun. Failing which and it's gonna cost an arm and leg, than a good Halal chinese seafood restaurant will do very well. Sorry Blackrobe, pls come and I bring some scotch (an KY) instead to make up for bbq!

good rates, I assume RM80 is for a std room. it would be good to get rates for the E-superior and junior suites as well as there are some members with family.

As for me, can i have the rates for E-Superior and Junior Suite preferbly with two twin beds.
