Drive to Penang 12/13 March 2011

What Badrul pointed out is correct. Time & coordination for T-Shirts would be a challange as the drive is only 2 weeks away.....

Ok guys, given time is short, will skip t shirts for this drive but I will speak to CM re stickers and get their permission to use club logo and design for this drive. Stay tuned for progress.

Shirts and sticker will be on the cards for East coast drive in May.

I regret to inform that approval has not been granted to use BMWCM logo or Club name for the creation of drive stickers. So regretfully, plans to create T shirts and stickers futile.

forget it serjit. this drive is merely a bunch of friendly BMW owners going on holiday together. let's just proceed with our usual fun.

however it's ironic coming from a committee that hasn't organised anything in over 6 months. Raub drive doesn't count as initiated by a non-committee, so no different from this Penang one.

some people just want to be a pain in the ass; even when their asses don't look nowhere as tasty as those in your signature!

Recce has been planned for 5th March 2011. Kaniz, Yazmeen n Gregcwho have kindly volunteered! Thanks a million guys! They will source makan venues with sufficient parking and also any sightseeing opportunities. Thereafter will finalise agenda for the drive.

Pls observe the following: -

1. Do not overtake Mizhan and do not fall behind JohnJ

2. Ssmann and Yazmeen will have the responsibility to do the following: -

a. Sweep drive back and forth within convoy to ensure formation and that convoy does not break up
b. Stall traffic at traffic lights, hazards, junctions etc so that convoy can pass smoothly

3. Since many will be bringing families, and some with young children, this will not be a spirited drive but one that will display the elegance of a BMW formation/convoy from Sg Buloh till Georgetown!!!
