BMW owners who purchase their BMW car(s) from 1 April 2008 will have their BMW White Card sent to them automatically. BMW owners who purchased their BMW car(s) from 2005 onwards, will be sent registration packs in April 2008, where they can fill in the enclosed form.

You're right about getting it automatically bimmerdude. Maybe what I signed for wasn't for the White Card membership...

But you could be wrong about the disservice to our girl friend. I think she bought her unit before 1 April, right Rachel?

Anyway, I agree the box is good enough to keep, eg for filing the manual. Love the raised BMW logo on it!

Bro, look into the leather pouch which contains operation manual, service booklet, service centers & etc...
Normally the SA will make a photocopied of the Reg Card and inserted there.

Box? Eh my came in a crummy Skynet (courier) envelope. Wondering if my USB thumbdrive got courier jacked as well as I didn't get it in the whitecard package. Anyone else got their whitecard welcome kit like mine?

Don't think you can blame your SA as this offer comes from BMW Malaysia. It has nothing to do with the dealers (except for AB where they have their own loyalty program)

From what i understand, BMW Malaysia gets the data from the dealers and then sends the invitation packs accordingly. You should certainly check with your SA if you would qualify but again, he/she might not be able to help

If I recall, it did come Skynet. It's a white box with logo button, within another white box. The card and thumbdrive were sitting side-by-side in a sponge cutout with booklets underneath on the advanced driving course, the golf thingy, etc. Very classy presentation even better than Merc I thought.

I checked the courier slip and it was marked documents instead of parcel. Looks like some recent cost cutting measure on BMW Malaysia's part. Should have not dragged my feet in filling out the application form sigh.

Bro, you aren't the only one. I received the similar package as you had, except the thumb drive too.

The outsource company may have run out of stock of the full pack when it was time to send yours, but they may have stock now, so there's no harm in asking BMWM. The marketing people may in fact be interested to know that the outsource company screwed up their good intentions to give all owners the same "BMW Experience". In the end, it doesn't really matter, it's only a thumbdrive and a couple of boxes.

Hehehehe... Well, there are different ways of playing the game. My best tactic is to get someone like E46F to make first contact first, break the ice, test the situation, then I use his slipstream to get past at the end of the straights, hehehehe... applies to cars and other things.

People, the Q3-2008 White Card promotions include 5 hrs complimentary use of the Plaza Premium lounges in LCCT, KLIA and Changi. Very useful since it's hard to afford Biz Class travel nowadays. Can't even afford MAS...
