I have not decided as I did have the chance to test merc and audi A4. Merc c250 cgi demo car in kuantan had been sold. Have 2 wait after Raya. Need to go to KL to test audi. I tested 320d Performance Edition @ BMW Kuantan yesterday. This is an upgrade version of 320d. Power has been upgraded to 184bhp with 380Nm of torque. Top speed is 233km/h. This power upgrade has improve the acceleration from 0-100 to just 7.6 sec.

I love the handling and power surge of the car. There are only 48 units available throughout malaysia. Price is increase to rm 261k from 255k.

Ithink I saw one in AB, upgraded engine as mentioned above but also the addition of a bodykit which doesn't look that nice but that's personal I guess. Inside it looks mostly the same.

With the Performance Editions here you get the higher grunt engine, body kit (though not including any CF trims), aluminium trim pedals, handbrake & gear knob. Otherwise all other standard 320d M Sport specs

by the way...within your choices, my dua sen is that if you don't mind paying a "small" premium & don't mind the wait, get the Quattro ... AWD with paowuh!

Omega Man, everyone can give input about specs, performance, looks etc but at the end of the day when you finally buy whichever car you choose, will you regret not buying the OTHER car? Not saying that any of the car/brand you stated is lesser but BMW is iconic man! I was in this analysis mode also before buying my 325 M sport. In the end, I just didn't want the feeling of standing in a hotel lobby and watching BMWs come and go and think.... wish I had a BMW! or seeing all the BMW magazines and writeup about the fantastic 6 cylinders, the brilliant chasis or the head turning styling and think...wish I had a BMW!! You being in a BMW forum, says to me that you may regret not owning a BMW if you chose another brand mate! Hope I'm wrong.

The Audi's a classy brand name and much respected too with their more sportier image and driving these days, bro. The VW...umm,ummm maybe not so much flash behind that brand name.

Passat not flash at all but with a 5 year warranty and free service..wow that can make you consider. After all they do have the brilliant DSG.
What i'm saying is basically there are no "lemons" in this group/basket of cars selected. As such, decision now is really about any regrets/envy when you see the other 3 cars you mentioned going by. Would you be contented with your selection. That's all. As for me, I am so contented and happy. Sure, still have dreams of owning the M3 but reality of insurance cost and road tax just to pot around town, will happily settle for the E90. Good luck anyway in your pusuit.

Yes.. the current version 320d is 187hp 380Nm torque, makan 325i in pickup, top speed lose 9kmh to 325i.. but as long as got traffic and corner on the highway, this 320d keeps pulling away from 325i.. :love:

... with 380Nm of torque in the 320d, 5 adult passengers in the car also you felt like driving alone! :love:

high torque = less effort from stand still (0kmh)/less stress for pickup from stand still..
