had a suprise meet last night with sapura GM.. i meantioned to him about the bimmerfest, and he said that they would contribute, i think kev is handling them about this issue..

as for the stickers, i have a so called sponser for this to be printed.. the more cars the better,

thinking of informing deputy Tourism Minister, Donald Lim..maybe they will help..

as for the police escort and convoy.. they will help..

need ideas from other forumers..

Instead of police escort, how about the cops looking the other way for about 20 to 30KM eh?

Everything sounds great. Sponsorship is the anchor for the meet. Be sure to draw up a list of things you'd need. There are still plenty of small details.

What's the plan for media? When sponsors are involved, the media coverage is even more important. Enlist a crack team of talented photographers and videomen. There are a few in this community.

If I could add one more thing is that, the best and most worked on plan is wasted if the social dynamics of the group is not fostered/maintained. This is the most difficult part. You guys need to keep this thing 'alive' until the meet. I suggest encouraged activity in this thread and related thread to keep the buzz alive This is one of the big things we wrestled in when planning our meets.

Ive tried part timing as marketeer/advertising during school days, it's sure hard to convince people to buy something. Maybe successful marketeer have their own 'aura' that can attract people or something.
