For enthusiasts, I feel that the F30 335i is a seriously fast and agile car. However, the F30 328i comes close. The performance from a "small" two litre engine is truly amazing.

Since we do not always drive above 200km, so for me the 320d is more practical. Thats why a reviewer called it a real world car. If economy is not an issue, then I would go for 328. If the money from fuel saving can be used for something else, say ..a holiday, then I would go for 320d. What i mean is if money saved from fuel saving is just going to stay in the bank acount, then might as well go for the 328.

Apologies if my comments came out as too harsh for your tastes. But this sensitivity thing goes both ways.andrewlim8;759867 said:bro,

But not to let this post go to waste, I test drove both the 320d and the 328i, and even the 520d & 520i. I preferred the power delivery of the petrol in the real world driving. This is due to the power and torque drop off from just below 4k rpm. But this is just my preference and not a criticism of the otherwise excellent N47 engine. Will they broaden and smoothen the powerband? Shouldn't be too far off I would think.
