Hi Everyone,Just join in here like an hour ago. First time in forum, what make me here in forum is my indecisive on getting myself the new 2013 (F30) 328i M-Sport. Want to listen for more opinions.Have been driving my 120i M-Sport (2007 model) for 5 over years, with the best handling of my little 1 Series first time ever I own a car for more than 3 years. After 5 over years, thought of getting a new unit for myself. Was thinking Evoque (balance from Engine Performance and Specification), until I tested this 328i M-Sport.Tested this F30 - 328i M-Sport for days (special privilege...heehee). With the powerful engine and the intelligent respond from the Active Steering plus the nice Blue color. This unit is about there to be my next own unit. But there are some missing factor for me to say "YES" to this Beautiful Blue 328i M-Sport. What are there missing, seriously I don't know....anyone can tell me?Thank you guys!

Only missing things that I could possibly think of: no LED signal lights (moving backward from E90 LCi), no legendary BMW inline 6 engine sound.

Hmm...comparing with rivals this F30 does not have adaptive xenons and comfort access?

F30 - 328i M-Sport 2013 ... despite for the wind noise, despite for the noisy engine roar... despite for the bumper problem, despite you might get rusty seats ... despite it looks similar in it's class ... despite BMW is not making as much profit as before ... despite the BAD service from SA ... despite it might totally shut down when you go over water ....

It's a very nice car ! So go for it !

Hi Jeffery what is the bumper problem on the F30? I have a minor problem that the gap between my healight and the grill is a bit different on both side. I have changed to performance grill, done in Wearnes the first day I got my car and suspect may b misalingth. However after sending back for checking and the SA also cant tell why. What a joke, furthermore plase be gentle when closing the car boot. My rear brake light bracket was broken and imagine that it is not fasterned to the boot by screw but by two pieces of bracket only.According to SA they are aware of this issue and changed for me under warranty. OMG this is unbelievable.

However after all the complaint it is still a well balanced car in terms of handling, performance and confort. Way better than my friend's GTR :lol. Thought of getting A250 at first and paid by deposit. But changed my mind after considering the practicality and long waiting period. So decided on the 328 M sport at last. I have tested the 328M sport for 4 times before convincing myself to change camp.

what else is missing from the m-sport... hmm.. maybe m performance lip+side sills+diffuser, trunk lid spoiler, carbon mirror covers, carbon+alcantara interior trimmings and gear selector, m performance big brake kit, 20" forged rims set, pedal box + race chip ultimate, m performance exhaust...

and maybe a few more goodies that i may have missed out...

Thanks guys!

Today I went for another round of speeding it. I have finally found the reason for me not saying a "YES" to it.

Definitely it's powerful and responsive unit, agreed that despite the some sounds from here and there which I will take it as the birth of this model. Neither is the LED or Xenon.

The main reason is the "HANDLING"....even with the active steering which suppose to be something in wishlist. This particular unit is too powerful when I hit 220km/p. Steering became not as heavy and it became floating and the seat doesn't hold you tight.
This is exactly the same feeling I had when I was driving a Z350 back then.

I confirmed this after I tested the 520d today at a speed limit of 230km/p. This is a total feeling when you speed.
Not saying 520d is the best but confirmed 328i M-Sport is not my ride.

Thank you for everyone :)

slumas, i've been driving a courtesy 520d for a week now. It's undeniable that 520d makes me feeling more secure when "cruising" at speed higher than 200kmh but i'm sure it doesn't "handle" anything better than a 328i M Sport during "spirited driving". The VSS is rather sensitive during high speed but it feels great once you master it in weeks time. However, individual choose their car based on their own driving behaviour and feeling therefore good luck on your search ya.. cheers..

hi cspoh100, when i check my bumper between my boot and the rubber, there's a gap there, and when you press it a bit ... u realize the bumper is like going off ... it's actually not your issue of closing it softly or harder, my old machine had been used for so long there's no gap there, the new F30 bumper, i went to the show room to see display unit, and found that 2 out of 3 of the F30 had this problem too.... therefore i do not know what to complain about ........................

Hi Razibar,

I took the NKVE from Duta all the way to Rawang and come back. My test drive was earlier in the morning to golf with the sales person happen to be my friends. Actually not difficult to hit 220km/h for a beemer. Just press it :p

Thanks! In fact I had the 328i M-Sport for a week and I pump twice. When come to power and speed, I have no doubt about it. Just like you say, depends on the individual driving behavior. Personally I think the 328i is a fun car but it might get bored after awhile. Unless we plan to lowered, add and modify it....to have it original unit, scare it will just be another Z350 experience :)
