What is the first responce when people see drive a BMW

This was what i was asked from some of my friends when i first got my E39 sometime in May last year.

Friends: "Wah....damn nice man...got BMW dy..cun la...this la...that la...fast la.....how much?"...
ME: 46 K!
Friends: 46K!???
ME: Yes 46K!
Friends: 46K! WTF?!?!?
ME: Yes 46K!
Friends: Wah...yours stolen car ah?!?!?!
ME: No! I got it at a steal!

Lesson learned....next time round when a new bunch of friends asks "How much?"

I feel for you man.
I don't why but a lot of ppl like to compare the E46 with the new accord or new camry. To me, they are cars of a different era and class. I bet the E46 classic status will be retained 30 years from now with many more enthusiasts driving them on the road, but the current accord or camry will be forgotten and lost by then

Me: Well, if I was driving a let's say Lexus IS250 recond, and a 325i E90 LCI drove next to me, I would turn my head, ternganga sikit and check out the car and say 'Damn, I shoulda bought a bimmer'. If I was in the 325, heck I would tekan hard and pass everyone on sight! But hey that's me.

i am having a good laugh reading all the responses.. and i have some weird ones at me..

Well at one point earlier this year i had 3 bimmers.. 32. 39 and a 38.. when people got to know that... the most common replies from guys .... "lu gila kah"

and girl's replies.. " your wife crazy ah.. letting u have so many!!"

felt like having three wives and have to rotate driving them.. monday.. tuesday..wed.. thurs fri sat.. sunday-drives wife's camry.. yucksss..!

Lately i was pissed off when one of my friends said that my e39 is old n outdated..i smiled n whispered to his damn ears "Bro, this is my bimmer n i bought it cash..i could have bought 3 kelisas if i wanted to".....sooory guys, never i wanted to be arrogant n hardly criticised people's car...:burnout:
