Forogtten 1 more question. Jarance, did u ask them why is it leaking ? due to termostat or too much pressure ? the hose seems still good condition, but why is it leaking from the connection. I suspected the connection is no good, water still able to leak out, i think its prefer to apply casket gum b4 plug in.

Oh, i tot 1 place leaking. The underneath of hose near expansion tank also leak ler , wakakakakkaka. Meaning what i experienced is same as urs too. But ur right on changing the termostats. I think mine also kaput same as urs. Aiya, since buyer already paid me deposit, save wallet no need change. Jarance, since u saw the process of replacing the termostats, did u know how to DIY now ? mayb next time we can change it at ur house.

As first, I thought the hose was leaking. see picture below.

After I clean the hose and check the hose, it was in good condition.

Yeah saw the whole process of replacing the thermostat. Need a 34 size spanner to open the fan clutch. The workshop did not use a special tool to lock the fan clutch like my the other workshop do. I guess the bolt was not too tight as it was removed before when I replaced the radiator.

I think i can do it. Daiichi also want to change his as well.

no mine was not leaking at the joint as there was no water stain on the tapered nozzle.

I think the gasket have harden due to aging. :motz:

1. check the secondary heater water pump.
2. check the two hoses hidden behind the inlet manifold.

I think I found the source of the leak.

Fill the radiator until overflowing. Close the radiator cap. start the engine and wait for to warm up. when the engine was warm up, I rev the engine till the rpm reaches 4000 rpm. did it a few time and check for the leak.

saw some water droplet around the expansion tank.

hi bro , what's up i heard that u didn't solve the problem . about the expansion tank u need to open first there might be a hair crack . i have got to many problem with the expansion tank ,caution if need to change get the origanal tank ,u can also change the rubber 'o' ring . all the best

Took out the Air filter compartment to check for the source of the leak and found water dripping from the hose.

Analyze the cause of the leak and found that the hose was not properly inserted.
