There is a thermostat located at the heat exchanger as well. Change it as it tend to get blocked due to the residual of the coolant after it is expired.

IanDaddy;541942 said:Champion, I think you may have a leak at the thermostat housing (hairline sort of crack). Happened to mine, same sort of stain at the same place, over 6 months I have added 2 litres. Recently changed that.
solo;541998 said:Bro, where is the "engine side to behind." This is a little unclear. Can you give a more precise location? And what is the seal? This will help all of us with the same M43 engine locate it. Thanks.
Bro, kat mana ni "sebelah enjin belakang"? Tak jelas sangat. Boleh bagi tak lokasi yang tepat? Dan apakah "seal" tersebut? Ini akan membantu semua yang ada enjin M43 menetukannya. Terima Kasih.
Salut

Anyone knows?

Thank you for your feedback.I'll talk to my mechanic today again. The problem has gotten worst. I have to fill up everyday now. Today it just "minum" 5 litres ! And today for once the temperature indicator showed hot.
The mechanic said it is not a head gasket problem because there's no oil mixture in the water.
At the rate this is going, i tend to believe there's a leak somewhere.
The mechanic will take the car today. Will keep you updated.
