how much money do i have to korek from my tabung to do overhaul.. any ideas
herbert;684783 said:Mechanics being mechanics and they will always want to overhaul the engine, more $$$ for them. Since no white smoke from the exhaust, that indicates lubricant is not leaking into cylinders. What lubricant are you using now, 0w30 or what? Try using a thicker oil like what EL118 said......10w40 or 10w60.

herbert;685067 said:so after 8k, u need to top up?
sewell;685074 said:dunno what happen after 8k. coz i change my oil every 8k. haha
herbert;685072 said:White smoke indicates that lubricant oil is sipping into engine cylinders. This is usually cause by worn out piston rings. During combustion stroke, lubricant is burnt together with the fuel inside the cylinders causing white smoke emitted from exhaust.
Under such circumstances, a top overhaul is recommended.
