Good luck with your 328, my friend. You won't regret it. Even if you do, so whaaaat! At least you've been there, done that!

Even if I am correct, some beemer die hard fans might not be happy since this is a BMW club. The beemer is still a chick magnet for some strange reason. I get more attention from the ladies now (even though I am married with two kids) compared to my bachelor days driving a brand new Honda. It's like magic! Less efffort needed to get their numbers ESPECIALLY if you tell them that you're married. You got to be married in the first place in order to experience what I am trying to say. The ladies don't care whether the bimmer is a CBU recond unit or a CKD unit as long as it is a beemer. Let me tell you this - they love to be seen in a beemer.

Well Said bro,

ladies/chikas love to be seen in a bimmer.(absolutely true)

but honestly.. i want to get the car becoz i love the car... not becoz of the chikas.. YET... ehhehehehehe :D ... (small tanduk growing on my head already) it will get longer and bigger once I own the 328..

after doing a lot of thinking with my balls... hopefully could secure the deal my December and start driving by Jan...

thanks guys...

cheers...:)

Syahril,

If you love the car, i don't think your would asking/commenting around (talked about Bimmer attraction on women, spec and maintenance). If you're really love the car and have passion on it you probably put other opinion aside, you will get yourself a car first and experience it before commenting on others thing.

IT'S A PASSION THAT WILL DRIVE YOU

well for me it's also about the passion of the car... honestly chikas come 2nd... not that i'm gay or anything... but what is there to talk about if owning a kancil ?? maybe like "fullaamaakkk... this morning, my fuel tank is still full even after 100km of driving" or " dasyat laaa lu bro.. tadi u layan corner 60km/h... gempak siot" or "tadi ade mamat tu daring2 kat aku, aku terus floor kerete aku.. 60 ~ 100kmh in 3 hours and 17 minutes.. berdesup desup pegi..."... and last one "highway kesas jalan tak berape elok laa... suspension kerete aku berayun ayun atas jalan.." ahahahahahahah :D

i swear to god that i don't mean to insult kancil or the owner of a kancil... just a joke... eheheheh

fuel consumption

on an everage driving... meaning no sudden flooring or maintaining 150kmh all the way drom kl to jb... how far can a full tank get me ??? i believed full tank for an E36 328 is RM120.. do u need like fuel treatment or anything ???

I have indicated earlier estimated fuel/parking cost.

the figure i believe is the minimum unless yr car is a garage queen.

328 lagi hebat minyak

Yup but not necessarily 328i fuel consumption is higher (eventhough it is)

my personal experienced, during raya that day(on my way back to my home town Terengganu) fill in full tank at petronas before gombak toll and speeding average 180 - 200KMH all the way. it only cost me 80 buck to top up again when I reached my hometown. sommore manage to reach within 3 and a half hour (for about 490++KM) and that is without any extra fuel treatment.

But When its come to town drive, from my home at PJ old town to bandar utama. A full tank can only last about 4-5 days.

FEEL IT FIRST THEN YOU KNOW:D :D :D

OFF TOPIC:
Kancil is a Perodua car... still better than Proton. Just check the re-sale value of local cars, the Peroduas' are much better than Protons.

But i guess all of us here wants to own a Bimmer because of its standards and driving experience :)

btw(shahril, tumpang ok..), what sort of mileage can a 325i (a) go for town driving (with a full tank of RM120)?

Well said duck! I only buy contis but I respect and like Perodua. I love my mum's Myvi and always borrow it from her (fill petrol for her too mah) :)

i dunno about E36 326 but my e39 528 can get me 640 KM on one full tank, 70 Litres for long distance driving. Can probly get 700 plus KM if really cruising and not start and stop etc. City driving is just way different.. between 440km and 510km or something like that depending on traffic. Big engine idle not good, but on the move is more economical than the regular car I think.

Of course we shud discuss city driving consumption.

Consumption in the highway (for small and big cars) nearly same. Its within
city limits where it matters.

funfer, I also prefer to keep my cars stock standard and don't believe in modding, especially the engine, suspension and wheels. Why disturb the balance of a well-engineered car? I think that will only get you trouble down the line and modding has no positive effect on resale value. Might even be negative.

Let Syahril get a 50-60k E36 lah. He's on a tight budget and shouldn't take on too much burden. Anyway, he's a good boy and not interested in pulling chicks with his Bimmer

I think the 328i's are going for 40-50k only due to high road tax and fuel consumption (because of the ever increasing fuel price!).

try ask sithwarrior
he know someone letting go e36 with ori M3 b/kits + ori M3 rims
below 50k

yes. the latest price that i saw in motortrader and the star classified is around

40k-50k E36 328 year 1996

and

50K-60 E36 328 year 1997

Compared to What I got back in Sept 2006 - 328 E36 328 year 1996, cost me 54K

but dunno the car condition lor. Take your time in searching the best car available in market. or maybe can try the classified section in this forum
