yeah, I forgot something else. Put your finger under the wheel arch and the wheel. Anything more 2 fingers means stock standard spring.

Yes before replace the front abs less then 2 jari. Now almost 3.

try the 2 finger test. M-Sport springs have smaller clearance as compare to standard spring.

Also if the cat take a nap there, it is also standard setup.. :sleep:

I`ll be getting my long waited and dreamed E46. Its 318i 2.0 Local Spec and the mileage clocking about 115km. Its really a standard stock. No mod at all as the previous owner was a lady n she was the first owner as well. I have test drive the car and seems fine n comfort except the airbag warning lights on. What else i should check for in the car and wht kind of a service i should go once obtained the car. Please advice as i`m newbie here and also for the Bimmer group.

Bro, just read through all pages of this thread as your question will answer. Btw what years of this unit 318 u are talking about and what is the asking price ?

I have gone thru all the pages in this thread and also other threads as well. The car was made and reg in 2002. n 318 2.0. The price was rm80k. The shop owner say he will get done the airbag warning light and 1 month warranty period. SO, i planned to bring the car and service it with chg the ATF ( flush out all old one n put in new) and get the car diagnosis. Hope with this I could get back to the shop if there happens to be any problem. Do you think this is enough and alright...?

Bro u still missed out to check the suspension, cooling system such as water pump and any oil leakage at underneath. Hope u can get a good unit of worth buy UDM and enjoy it.
