Hi all, I have been testing a product from work over the past week, Its not got a name as far as i know, but i call it a speederbox. Basically its a potentiometer adjuster. The box is fitted between the accelerator pedal and the vehicle wiring loomThe item is plug and play, and it fitted so far with 2 adjustment modes. City and Sport.Fitting was just 20 minutes, and the results are noticeable instantly :top::top::top:Sadly , i have no info on supplier , price , anything-- I just wanted to tell you all :)p.s... the system will come fitted with the "sport" button from the Z4 for an OE look when fitted :love:Ill snaps some shots , not that theres much to see as its all integral in my seat now ;) ..Side note, Does anyone have info on this type of tuning?

And how does that different between the standard 2 settings : D & DS mode?
Does this mean it will offer 4 settings/modes ?
1- City x D & DS mode
2- Sport x D & DS mode

At lower speed under DS, the car tend to be jerky, does the unit help to smoothen the transmission?
Thks

not auto.. manual.
It has no effect on the gearbox as far as i know anyway. its the input signal from the accelerator pedal which it works with (as written in the first post ;) )

basically it changes the way the car interprets the inputs from the speeder pedal, giving a much quicker pedal response

No extra horsepower, but much quicker reaction from the car

I've have one for sale at only RM 900. It's velocity booster with 4 individual modes you can select with. Let me know if you are interested.

:) thanks for the info :)

the one i have is a bit different though

The connector to the pedal is the same, but there is a "box" which travels 40cm from the pedal, and this has a USB link on the end.
From the USB there is a cable, which ends (after approx 1.5m after) with a 3 way switch (O-1-2)

Inside the box is a small screw, which according to the literature supplied, allows for adjustment of the settings by increasing or decreasing the standard set levels

The O is off
1 is "city"
2 is "sport"

I have the button fitted on the side of my drivers seat, so i can switch on and off as the mood dictates
