Hope your car is ok. Lately I drive to SP almost every weekend.

Don't worry bro. E39 is very reliable. I had to only change my tyres there due to age and of course worn badly especially the rear ones.

Mine power steering rack is also leaking but so far no prob.

On the shifting up/down at x RPM i don't really notice as E39 ZF gboxes are pretty smooth anyway

Me too always use D all the way but sometimes on after Ipoh on the hill before menora tunnel, I always use D +/- just to stop the gb from hunting u and and down and by doing so tapaued many camrys and accords haha..

i checked psf level this morning before travel, it was less a bit but at the right level since a day before i over topped up it. aha.
felt like my car has no power whenever using D compared to the steptronic. maybe my D mode is not working up to its standard. shifting up and down made me feel like driving manual. plus i wildly guess that it improves my fc like driving manual transmission. dunno true or not. lol.

what i concern is i really hate my car breke down at the road side, so in the first place when i took my car i straight send it to workshop and change all this things below,
1. radiator
2. expansion tank
3. all hose which connect to radiator (already hard, takut bocor)
4. numbers of hose clip
5. spark plugs
6. valve
7. atf filter + pan gasket
8. atf oil
9. engine oil
10. brake fluid
11. thermostat
12. water pump + pump pully
13. fuel pump
14. lower shalf coupling
15. oil sump gasket (mine is leaking)
16. and some i can't really remember....

then the second service i make it more on the leg part, change absorber, disc brake and pad ( coz when i press the brake it came out irritating sound)
2 pcs upper arm (rear)
fan clutch and suspension. (the fan keep running fast even in high speeding, i only can hear the fan turning sound not the engine sound.)

at the end, the driving feeling just hard to describe, but my wife complaint me of the money gone also hard to describe....:thefinger::thefinger:

looking at the list, i assume the damage is quite high. mind sharing what's the damage it made to your wallet? i plan to flush all liquids and replace with new one but i guess have to wait until end of the month for salary in. hehe.

little updates

last friday i diy ignition coils, air filter replacements and MAF cleaning. bought bremi coils rm100/pc and MANN air filter rm35/pc from BA jalan segambut. bought CRC MAF cleaner for rm37/can at brothers ampang. lucky me, only one can left at rack. been told that the cleaner quite popular nowadays.

next project is replace MAF sensor and replace current plugs with bosch platinum iridium type.
