also i have no idea why my angel eyes are behaving like the video whenever i turn on the ignition switch. cannot be sure either because i replaced the angel eyes bulb or because i played around with the LCM using bmw scanner 1.4. i did tick some of the boxes but cannot remember what they are.

Looks like patrol car with blinking headlamp...

Normal bro. Your car is doing a cold bulb check every few seconds. Basically the LCM is sending electric pulses to check the resistance, which determines whether theres a blown bulb, or not.

This also happened with the old bulb, but because filamen bulbs require much more power to light up, it didnt show. Now with LED bulbs, small passing current will also light it up hence the 'light show' you see in the video.

thanks bro. now that explains. ya i thought also about the cold check but i cannot remember if it was checked by default. we have to enable it using bmw scanner.

after i start the angel eyes still flickering but less frequent. that's when idle, no idea whether it behaves the same if car is on the move.

If you're using LED bulb or LED angel eyes the lights will blink when starting the car and also while the car is running. It's because of the LED type bulb apparently.

i understand now from the past discussions that the flickering is caused by the module when doing cold & hot checks. the flickering is not visible if the angle eyes bulbs or rings are standard factory but they are if one of them is LED. just like haywire's explanation.

Yes bro this happened to my headlamp now hehehe...
Since fixing with LED Angel ring when the ignition key turn to ON position its start to do the cold bulb check so there is the blinking/flickering...
During day time not so visible but during night time it is so obvious...
