Question regarding 320i Navigation/GPS

Hi,Just looked at the manual and playing with the Navigation feature (have not used it for routing or anything yet.. just browsing around the map and menu)I can't find any way to switch off the Navigation feature or the GPS receiver. Is it always ON and can't be turned off? Or is it automatically turned off when the screen is not displaying any map/navigation stuff?Thanks.

Thanks. Just curious, as this car is totally new to me (driving a Wira before this). So, I guess the FM radio is always on too? Pressing the button just mutes it?

Doesn't this go against the trend of using less energy?

Yup, by pressing mute,you already switch off the FM radio/CD function. The display on the I drive will stay on by default.

You can totally turn off the display also if you dont want it to show anything.
