BMW e90 325i - iDrive Software Update

Dear Forum Members,I have recently being informed to update the professional navigation system - Malaysia GPS Map in my E90 - 325i (M-Sport) Model. The car was assemble in end 2009 which is also the last batch of the E90 325 series before the launch of F30. I have paid RM1K just to update the GPS MAP only to be known that the update is only for the navigation. The user interface of the other iDrive option remain unchanged. I have read through some of the forums from other website that state the possibility of performing the iDrive software update, but i have checked with both AB and IA that no such option is available.Is there any way / method that i can update the iDrive software as i am integrating the iPod to play the music and hoping that the nice brilliant album art would appear on the screen! Also, upgrading the iDrive can actually connects with the internet via mobile phone. Appreciate your comment and advice.Thanks.

Hi bro, you can update the software for your iDrive by downloading the relevant program for your car based on your VIN. Go to this link.

Hi All,
Good news for those who wish to upgrade the iDrive professional system with the newly integrated BMW Combox for mp3 album arts, mp3 via bluetooth, emails, sms and etc. I have manage to get this ugpraded by bimmercoder. I am extremely please with the new features that is made available for the professional idrive system.
