myNavimyNavi is a latest range of GPS Navigation products in Malaysia. It incorporates the state of the art technology hardware with sleek designs to compliment the products. myNavi products are currently available as a portable In Car version. 1. How long does the battery last?
Battery last for 3 hours on full blast battery mode.

2. Accessory for battery plug charger using AC Main or cigarettee lighter.
Comes with AC Main where you can charge indoor and cigarette lighter adapter for in car charging or operation mode.

3. Anti glare feature. I.e view under direct sunlight.
LCD Screen is bright enough even with sunlight glaring on the screen.

4. backlight for usage during night.
Night driving backlight mode switching and guidance volume adjustment just a button push away

5. How does the touch screen work as I see some push button on the side.
All functions i.e navigation operation, Mp3 player, movie and photo viewer are on touch screen. Push button on the side are volume/backlight setting, power standby on/off and the "pin" icon to view a complete surrounding area/landmark of the destination that you set.

6. Outside price, how much? here how much?
Market retail at RM1,948. Club members RM1,650.

7. How much cost for map update or download.
Temporary free of charge until Feb2008. Prices are not fixed yet. Estimated about RM30-50 per update. The current map is already up to date as per telekom map. All updates are for all newly build areas/taman or housing developments.

8. detour feature have?
When you set a destination, the guidance system will guide you on screen and clear digital voice in 3 language of your options. If you run or overshoot a turning, the system recalculates the nearest route or detour to your destination almost immediately. If you are on live driving and there is a detour by the enforcement or road closure, the system will do the same on any turning you made and you will hear the system voice reading "You are going the wrong way" and the system will recalculate almost immediately.

9. Map include in the package.
Yes, this package includes the map loaded on 1GB SD Card. This map is locked by the owner of the map for any misuse or abuse of use of the map. The map can be viewed on 2D or 3D option

Additional information

This system is running live on satelites signals and will be receiving 7-9 satelites signals at anytime maximum up to 12 satelites. The signals measures your exact location and the speed of your car(which is shown on the screen). These measurement enable the system to calculate exactly the kilometer of your destination from the start point and time to take to reach the destination.

This system would be able to let you select the route option that you would like to take i.e. always on expressway, minimum time, minimum distance or always stay away from expressway. There is always voice warning if you are speeding on common road or highways saying "Reduce your speed". It also programmed in the system all prone speedtraps area on the highway where a camera icon will flash. It is not a speedtrap detected but merely warning of speedtrap areas.

I like the "reduced your speed" in speedtraps area.. ha..ha. A few saving in summon can pay for the GPS gadget.

1. Pertaining to the voice message or audio message, can it be user programmable. i.e. instead of every 10 meter, it tell you to turn left, maybe 50 meter from the junction. (Something like a nagging person telling or remind you every step of the way and you just want them to shut up)

2. How to do mount it on the car dash board?

3. Is there an video output to connect to external monitore. 3.5" not so big for unker eyeside lah..

4. what format can play by the movie player.

The voice message is pre programmed and are unable to be altered.
