Power delay on 2nd and 3rd gear.

Hi, I have an E30 318i 1989 model. I recently discovered a problem with the car whenever I shifted into 2nd or 3rd gear. Initially, it will lug a little as if the clutch had slipped. Most of the time, the power kicks back in after a couple of seconds but just today I was stuck at 30km/h till i clutched where the car reved to about 3.5RPM and returned to normal.HELP PLEASE!

unclear about your explaination, but certainly your clutch needs to be looked at.

most probably clutch sudah out. Better replace now before u cant engage your gear while driving.:wink:
