I would go for 520 - 2.2l silky smooth six potter, with idrive. 320 is 2.0l four potter. Both are base models, underpowered, but 520 phased out (both engine wise and the entire model) while 320 still in production. 520 may be considered fully depreciated by the time the f10 launched next week. But 320 not yet, once newer model comes out, be prepared for an additional 10-15% depr just caused by new model.

Dear 320i E90 owner,

I decided to own 320i E90 for my 1st BMW but second hand la...

But lately kekawan yg pakai E46 problem kt gearbox...

Is it due to cara diorg bawak or memang problem??

How bout E90?? ade same problem x??

Pls advised...E90 owner...

I owned an e46 (325i), and it gearbox kaput just after 2 years warranty period. Thankfully, they gave goodwill warranty and replaced gearbox FOC (which would otherwise have cost RM30k+). I have been using an e90 (325i) for last 4 years, thankfully no problems.

I have kol BMW Ingrees sale person regard GB problem...

He said E46 using SMG GB got lot problem and now for E90 they have rebuilt back.

Lega sikit bila dgr camtu.
