In fact, i suppose to get the CBU F10 but end up they give me the SKD version and tell me BMW no longer carry in the CBU version anymore. I ordered the car on May.

SO far, my wish and Vios never give me any problem. May be i m lucky :)

No worries my friend, I have clients who drive 5 and 7 series, e-class and s-class, dare not even write a word of English. So, I am glad that you are trying to write. It wouldn't surprise me if there are many more owners of such cars who don't speak and write a word of English, many of which can better afford bigger and better cars, but decide to be frugal to buy a mere 5 series. I have a client who gets me to draft all his personal letters to Mercedes for defects that he is trying to get them to rectify on his S-class. Well done!
 
I feel very disappointed of BMW's after sale service, they r not prof enough.

For my F10 case, i sent in their Segambut workshop b4 i start my journey to Singapore with my family. After 2 hours, they told me the aircon malfunction due to the aircon gas too high and they already fix the problem.

SO, i take back the car and start my journey to Singapore, half way to Sing, i feel the aircon start to blow hot air and not cool anymore and immediately i call the saleman in Sungai Besi for help. The Sungai Besi saleman contact a Auto Bavaria technician to contact me and ask me to sen the car to their Johor workshop. I Feel very angry because my In Law was in the Sing hospital waiting for heart surgery & i need to rush to there. I already wasted 2 hours in Segambut and get back the car got the same problem. I fxxx them & ask them to get BMW to fix my carin Sing. End up nobody ctc me and tell me how to solve my problem when i was in Sing.

I call the sale agent when i back to KL and the saleman told me the BMW tell them they cannot do anything too. What a suck after sale service. I really felt disappointed after i heard that.

After that, I ask the saleman to collect my car for service again and they found out the aircon not cool due to aircon got gas leak problem, i told them how they service my car - at 1st they told me gas too high, now gas leak???

I did call BMW and nobody want to entertain me at all :motz:

Now, my 3 years old e90 got the aircon problem also, i feel i m paying something not worth for the price.

Now, my 3 years old e90 got the aircon problem also, i feel i m paying something not worth for the price.

I think I know what happened. When AB filled the a/c gas, they filled too much, so pressure too high. Anything above 250psi will cause the a/c to blow hot air. Apparently, with BMWs, the pressure not easy to adjust, and sometimes on meter, it shows pressure 250psi, but actual pressure is about 400psi for some reason after a run. When pressure too high, any very small leak will blow a big hole. After that, major problem, cannot solve with gas anymore. Any leak in the cooling coil have to change cooling coil. If you have to change cooling coil, the entire dashboard have to be removed. After removal, dashboard no longer the same - apparently dashboard is built in a way that removing destroys certain clips, and after that definitely have sound. I have a 325i which BMW service centre removed dashboard - almost completely destroyed, cupholders broken, aluminium strip bent and stained, other things cannot see, maybe a lot more damage under the dashboard. Apparently, this is the post-mortem story done by an air-cond specialist that I visited. Nobody dares to remove dashboard, but when a/c rosak or cooling coil needs to be changed (every 5 years I am told), BMW service centre will wreck the dashboard, in many cases beyond repair, so they use super glue, silicon, etc. I had an experience once my door panel was removed, they broke the plastic, and used glass silicone to stick the panel together - when got into the sun, the silicone melted, and I was jumping mad when I found out what they had done! That was AB Segambut too.

sorry. now you sound more convincing. i thought u were a mercedes salesman trying to cause some trouble. regarding your f10, it is rather new and i do not know much about it yet. however about the e90, i suggest u stop sending it for fixing at AB (expensive and shoddy maintenance) and try the many other external workshops. cheers.

It is alright bro.

I got friend driving the new E and it give alot of problem too. 1 got windscreen problem - water leak and the other 1 got engine problem.

I voice up here because i feel their after service really really suck.

U know what the saleman told me when i facing the aircon problem? they told me BMW told them they cannot do anything about my case. They can't help me. I feel like cheated by them when i heard this. :(

But our 2010 323i came in January 2010. Confirm it's a 2010 car because of the paddle shifts and registration card.

After the aircon problem, My F10's front wheel now start generate the "dot..dot.." noise :(
I already call up the sale and he will get a technician to my house to check it..... i start to worry what will happen next after they solve the noise issue.
 
Sorry to hear about your problems ben10, it is indeed sad that a car of this calibre is riddled with such problems. However it is good that this time around, they are willing to go to your house to fix the problem. Perhaps AB Segambut has heard our woes over this forum, and are taking steps to rectify problems.
 
I told the saleman i don't dare to drive the car anymore and i totally lost the confident on my F10.
It happen when my whole family sitting in the car :( even my son and daughter 5 & 7 year old sitting @ the back can hear the sound too.

it is very loud :(

Ben, sorry to hear. You did the right thing by forcing them to go over to your place. I will be sure to ask Puven the next time I see him.

Yes, I will also check with Puven when I next visit AB Segambut. Very distressing news I must say.

It is ok.
May be my luck is too bad recently.
If BMW don't take this seriously, i will record the sound and post it in all the BMW club and also youtube. To let all the people know their F10 in not perfect :(

The BMW just call me they cannot loan a car to me, i feel really very disappointed of their service.

A RM400K car, fail 3 times less than a month :(

Just heard 2 more case of F10. 1st case is fr the tow car he told me got 1 F10 fail in the middle lane of SG Besi highway and the BMW guy took abt 1 hours to free the gear & remove the car - 2 weeks car :(

The other car is fr their mobile team - a brand new F10 got the front arm noise like my car - few days car & the problem is because the assemble line doesn't tighten the screw.

They will tow my car tomolo :(
 
Gosh this sounds bad! I have just placed a 10k deposit and will be getting the car in less than 3mth time. I heard about the aircon prob too, but not as serious as yours.
 
Quick question: is this a common problem or the rest who got the car has little problem? just wanna survey the YTD experience of the f10 owners. thx

Don't buy fr AB, their service suck. I request a loan car, since this is 3rd time i need to send in for warranty less than a month. What they tell me is they don't have any car to loan but they can rent a car to me, i feel very angry after i heard this. :(

I complaint this to BMW's after sale team and the sale team told me they can't do anything if the dealer don't want to borrow the car to me - is this call service????

Yes...BAD service.
 
But ab offer a shorter wait period compares to ingress n quill. Anyway I wrote to my sales lady and told her if her after sales sucks, I will lodge a complain to Dato salleh the new sime Darby CEO.
 
haha, i doubt the Dato Salleh will care abt your complaint :)
Although my F10 breakdown 3 times less than a month but the BMW after sale team don't take it seriously at all too
