need advice between 320d or 323i

No need run in or anything lah.... ask the SA to change engine oil for you. 10k is just nice....

So what is next? Go to fuel pump station and get a full tank of that oily stuff with the guarded black handle fuel nozzle, and enjoy..!!!

Just be carefull of the different driving dynamics of RWD. It is very different from the FWD. Can be dangerous.. but once you get used to it, you'll enjot it more..! And after you get bored of the power, come look for us... we can give you some goooood advice, in person... :listen:

Thank you for your advice and also on the RWD car,,will try to be careful for few days to get use to it.. ..
i will ask the SA to change the oil,.Can i ask them (AB) to change the brake pad also?? because the car is still under BSRI..
i think it will take 'sometime' for me to get bored..then only will consider power kit etc ...

Just to double check, are you sure it's April 2010 and it's 163k?

I went to AB last week and June 2009 323i was 178k with 44.5k of mileage.

err, i am quite sure though. i even asked the SA to wrote everything down for me..at that time, when i checked their website, it is written as 2010 with the price close to 180k as well. called them, stating my interest in the said model.. and asked to come over to check and view the car..when i am there, they said that they are having promotion and quote me this figure (after some haggling).. almost took it until i tested the 320d..

you may want to try to get their best offer..or is that the last price???

now i am driving the 320d with the iDrive (love it)..

been reading from this forum for quite sometime regarding maintenance and in my opinion, bmw diesel engine is reliable, probably less issues compared to their petrol brothers..maybe due to less electronics??.. only thing is that we have to be aware and keep a good record with preventive maintenance especially on the oil engine and its accounted filters etc.. i guess (a bit more regular than petrol engine)..again i cannot offer my experience yet as i just close to 1 month owning this 320d...maybe other season 320d owners may share (i think you can search around this forum for some extra info) as some of them already reach the post BSRI/SC stage..

Anyway, been using mine for almost 1 year now, apart from poison for power and 19" rims (dtuk, vector, sprint booster, 3 piece forged etc), no issues whtsoever, have also switched to non-rft - shudda done it sooner imho :4:

i did check a little but more on the coverage etc and finally settle with 3 years package..
place my 320D booking today...need to settle on other admin stuff etc before i can enjoy the ride..

just one more noob question..

if the car already clocked 10K mileage.. then when i get the car (if everything is ok), i don't have to comply with the run in requirement right? or run in only apply to new car...

i am just newbie here and do not intent to insult anyone especially sifu's..but the above comment reminded me what the SA said to me when i am asking about the car..:wink:
