Bro Ryou, yup, i certainly do agree with you.. the mondeo certainly does excite me a lil bit, but then again, it is not as sleek as a beemer. Value of money, certainly
it is quite subjective on how much you are willing to dump in. Nevertheless, like they always say, keep your options open..

Bro Mokhtar, that is my main concern when considering for a diesel unit.. not because it is not prestige or some lame excuse, but i still do feel a car should be run
on petrol (my shallow mind) hehe.. i tested drive one already, ofcourse i never knew it was so much fun on sports mode.. for the time being, i will still consider a petrol run
unit, let it be 325 or the new f30 320.. people say f30 feels like sotong.. sotong or cumi or octopus, i dont go to track, so it doesnt really bother me.. 325i m sport still in my
heart..

But to be honest, 240k why not get the F30 320i or top up abit to get the 320d? E90 is already a dated model anyway. The 320i out perform the E90 325i almost all categories (design, gadgets etc.) except the power department and maybe looks (since the 325i comes with M-Sport kit and the F30 doesn't).

320i out perform 325i almost all categories? i really doubt on this... 328i YES, but not 320i. I enjoy my 325i "everyday", hitting 100K KM now but still running smooth & strong. I really appreciate the silky smooth I6, the MSport & well balanced chassis. Overall the E90 design language still based on driving dynamics, but F30 goes toward efficiency dynamic, just my 2 cents...

Bro kimi, any reoccurence problems? fuel effieciency wise, like just normal driving or tekan abit just to overtake? hope u dont mind to share, atleast it will convince me
to make this "investment" :D

Archie ... The 325 is a lovely car. The car is superb, sweet engine and great handling. FC is not that great for town driving. Power is just nice but not really that terror like the new 328. Problems? If you are unlucky, you will curse and swear. Mine is 8 months now, already more than 14 days in the SC and still not resolved. That is my luck. So dun bliv the SA when they tell you no problems one, never had any customer with problems. That is pure BS.

I am at AB Glenmarie now as I type this. More problems that they have yet to resolve.

bro tianci, so do u have to fork out anything for all these hiccups ur facing? or they twist and turn that this is not covered, that not covered..
Nah..i dont believe any SA unless i know them outside from their showroom.. sales talk, i had enuff..

'Banyak Masuk Workshop' did NOT apply on my 325i, i may lucky. Im hard footer as well, all the while the car is great, no major problem at all, only take care those wear & tear parts. Those rattling sound, electronic stuff, retrofit, mostly DIY, so the cost of maintenance consider low. The new 325 come with 5 years BSRI, why worry so much.

Then i hope i'm lucky too.. cause i'm really keen to have one and enjoy the "SHEER DRIVING PLEASURE" hehe...

Personally, I will always go for a younger model.... the new looks will definitely match your heart sooner than you thought...

Mr Archie,
So far so good.I USE IT ONLY FOR THE LONG JOURNEY,WEEKEND AND CEREMONIAL PURPOSE.COZ I TRY TO GRAB FREE MAINTENANCE FOR 3 YEARS OR 60K KM.
OTHER THAN THAT I USE PERDANA.BIMMER GIVE ME GREAT DRIVE N MUCH MORE PLEASURE.NOW I AM AT RENAISANCE KOTA BHARU KELANTAN FOR A ROUNDTABLE MEETING.YOU KNOW HERE MOST PETROL STATION PUT THE DIESEL TERMINAL OUT IN THE OPEN N WHEN IT IS RAINING ALL THE DIESEL USERS
CAUGHT IN WET,NO WONDER MANY KELANTANIS REJECT 320D(THATS WHAT MY FRIEND TOLD ME).ONLY FEW STAND TALL N THEY LOCATE THE COVERED STATIONS SOMEWHERE .

My sincere advise to you Bro mokhtar, don't sayang to drive your bimmer. That was my biggest regret. During first year of ownership, I was confused between BSRI an warranty despite being explained in detail by sifus here. So it clocked very low mileage.

One fine day in 2nd year, it sank to my head that should my ride has to fail, let it failed during warranty period. So I drove her around like no there is tomorrow. Well, it's not up to unnecessary ride lar. Now it already clocked in 130K km, I would consider high for a 3++ years old baby. So far never sleep in workshop. Only my ABS module got replaced under a good will warranty after 2 1/2 years of ownership at 90K km without incurring a single cent except for labor. Other than that, it's just great

So enjoy your ride. Cheers!

Dude it's under warranty but I have been in and out of SC till I am sick and pissed off. I work from home, I have a lot of free time, do you? This is a reality if you get a less than decent car.

The BSRI is not FREE! If you drop from 5 years to 3 then got more discount. I opted for 3 and not 5 bcos its prob cheaper to sort those small matters at specialist shops.

i could imagine the agony of going in and out of SC.. haih, that is why i'm afraid to make the jump, fearing that i'm unlucky..
if orang kaya nevermind la.. :)

Not a matter of kaya or strawberry jam but rather its about hard earned money and honouring obligations to the consumer. Advertise JOY la ... put up bunting saying BUY ORIGINAL BMW FOR PEACE OF MIND la ... yesterday went to sort out my differential ... after almost 3 weeks they say no courtesy car yet so cannot get me appointment. Fact is ... NO ORDER PARTS yet laaaaaaaaaaa ... what BS? If Kulim has the parts then not too bad but if not, takes about 10 days to get over from Germany or whever else. So what service is BMW giving la? BS service ...

LEfthanded,
Thanks for your advice.yeah it sounds good.you know i stay in klang but working at nilai,90 km away.everyday i clock 200km 5 days a week.22 days a month.in simple culculation it will take me just 2 years or less to end the 60k .with your advice i ll use to more often and youre right, capitalise it to the maximum.listen to your heartbeat and enjoy the life.Other sifus any idea.

Bro mokhtar, enjoy the drive in your udm...... its worth it.
