Its common for E90 that rear pads have faster wear based on OBC. E46 was opposite, where fronts will wear about 50% faster based on my experience. Could be due to the Hill Start Assist feature on the E90??
Although rears wear faster, they generate less dust vs. fronts, as the pads are significantly smaller in mass as well vs. fronts. So it's still logical front pads give out more dust although rear pads wear faster.
