Route for the Drive

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, mats and minahs rempit... here's the planned route for the KL-Penang portion:

Meeting Point: Sungai Buloh overhead restaurant rest area (Northbound) - meet at the parking lot
Meeting Time: 0730 - for breakfast & convoy briefing
Departure time: 0830 sharp

The Route:
Meeting Point to Tanjung Malim - NSE (exit at Tanjung Malim)
Tanjung Malim to Simpang Pulai - Route 1 (the trunk road)
Simpang Pulai to Kuala Kangsar - NSE (exit after Kuala Kangsar town) - anyone familiar with area please identify this exit
Kuala Kangsar to Taiping - Route 1 (the trunk road)
Taiping to Penang - NSE/Penang Bridge

Lunch - Location TBC

Watch out for JPJ or police traps at Tanjung Malim to S.Pulai stretch. They're normally hiding behind bushes/trees n just suddenly come out of nowhere to stop you. Happened to me once, nearly drove the JPJ P.Waja off the road n they dont bother whether ur speeding or what, n whether there's traffic behind you..
Average speed around the stretch is only 60-80kms..
