Yes, I think that is a good price. I paid RM 1500 each at the end of last year ( inclusive of balancing and allignment).

After some mulling between RFT and non-RFT, decided to go the RFT route. Needed to change the front donuts as it was its time. 37k on the odometer.

Experienced first time pressure loss while crossing the Penang Bridge late an afternoon a few weeks back. Not being a local Penangnite, I count myself lucky to locate a tire shop on the island just in time to do a quick patch courtesy of a tiny nail. The thought of changing a tyre on the bridge wasn't appealing hence the RFT decision.

After a few phone calls, decided with Wan Auto Car Wheels Sdn Bhd in Bangi today.

225/40/R18 - Bridgestone RE050, RM1400

They quotedme RM1,600 for the rears 255/35/18 Bridgestone RE050.

Bro, can you give me the contact no of Wan Auto where you bought the tyres.

I did change my RFT this year. The tyre size is 225/45 R17. Continental type Sports Contact2 SSR. Got it for RM 1100. I felt that this set has a softer compound than the original Continental

It's called Corkpit. Their price is good for any non-rft or 17" n below rfts. It's higher price for rft 18" n above. Also u have to order. I was there 2weeks ago.
