Washed my car last 2 days but the paintwork still have stubborn dirts and marks. So decided to do this just now. Only tried out on the boot. The surface feels kinda rough. Normal wash could not remove the stubborn stains.

A piece of clean clay bar

Using Meguiar's Quik Detailer as the lubricant for the claying process

Look at the dirt picked up by the clay bar

Wax it with Meguiar's Cleaner Wax

After one round of application, the stains came off

As usual, the water beading effect - Pic 1

nice bro,

quick q do you know any quick DIY and product we can use to remove minor scratch apart from visiting sifu kc's hehe?

Hmm, if you're referring to off the shelf items, most would probably opt for those like Turtlewax, Meguiars...

I used to have Meg's Scratch X and Swirl X, but obviously, cutting power by hands isn't as great as the rotary...

Certain scratches which are too deep I cannot mask anymore sadly.

Bro, since your scratches are minor, perhaps you can try opting for some off the shelf products?

Haha no worries la bro. Scratches and stone chips can't be avoided even for the most careful drivers out there.

Had a rather long gash on my driver's door last weekend when I swerved to avoid a Camry who was driving on two lanes, ended up hitting a tree branch on the road side...

Aiseyman. But oh well... Life goes on.

Tend to pick these sort of things up very quickly as I wash my car very frequently, thus knowing which stains are new. :p
