6.45am - 7.00am > Gathering & Safety Briefing at MRR2 Kepong to Batu Caves Bound Shell Station
7.00am - 8.15am > Convoy Leave for Gohtong Jaya/ Awana via Sungai Tua Road/ Ulu Yam
8.15am - 10.15am > Regroup at Point D (Skyway) and Proceed to Breakfast
10.15am - 11.00am > Group Photograph Session
11.00am > Drive Back to KL or Option for Some Members to Proceed Further (Genting/Bukit Tinggi/Bentong)
The Route
Total Estimated Distance : 56km
Point A - Shell MRR2 (Batu Caves Bound)
Point B - Ulu Yam Bahru Town
Point C - Turn Off to Genting Skyway
Point D - Genting Skyway (Convoy Regroup Here)
Point E - Gohtong Jaya
Point A to Point B
We will be passing the Batu Caves Temple and the town itself until we reach the turn off to the Sungai Tua Road. From here we will be heading towards the Ulu Yam Bahru Town via the Batu Dam, road is in moderate to good condition. Offering from low to medium difficulties level for drivers on this stretch. Uphill and downhill bend that demands driver to get their accelerating & braking points right.
Point B to Point C
From here we will be passing the 'Kampung' area so care should be taken until we reach point C.
Point C to Point D
This stretch is the highlight of the drive were the drivers will be treated with road that offers from medium to medium-high difficulties level and demands quick steering response in certain stretch. It would be beneficial if the drivers could manage this road smoothly instead of over-driving their cars which could results in understeering or oversteering or DSC keep intefering with the drive.
